This recipe was found on the Hillshire Farms website. It is a delicious, quick and easy weeknight meal.

    Recipe #472157

My DH came up with this recipe after much trial and error. This is always a HUGE hit with family and friends. He cooks fresh salmon on the smoker, which makes all the difference in the world. You could also use canned salmon, but I doubt it would be as good. This is a toss as you go recipe, so the measurements aren't exact. We serve it with plain saltine crackers and a slice of canned jalapeno pepper on top. Prep time does not include time to cook the salmon. Cooking time includes chilling time. Yummy!

    Recipe #341326

A course-ground dry rub that I use for large cuts of pork (Boston butt, shoulder, ham, picnic, etc) cooked low-and-slow.

This is a combination of a couple of different recipes. My husband really likes potatoes in his split pea soup, so this is a variation of a traditional soup. Prep and cooking times do not include time for soaking peas. Also, cooking time DOES include time for building and releasing pressure in cooker.

I adapted this recipe from a tuna casserole recipe. It turned out so creamy and good!

    Recipe #294868

Another one of my favorite recipes of my mom's. This is a great one dish meal that is inexpensive and easy to prepare. Most of my mom's cooking is done by taste and not by measurement, so adjustments should be made according to your own preferences. Enjoy!

    Recipe #271767

I don't know how authentic this recipe is, but this has always been one of my of my favorite recipes that my mom makes! This dish was always one of her favorites growing up, so it has been handed down a couple of generations in my family. It is inexpensive and easy to make. We always have it with applesauce and garlic bread. Enjoy!

This family favorite was passed down from my great-aunt's next door neighbor to my mother over 30 years ago. It may be the best pound cake ever!

Another great holiday tradition from my MIL, Linda. We always have this on Christmas morning since it can be made ahead and just popped in the oven while you are opening presents. I think it's yummy!

This is another one of my MIL, Linda's, great recipes. I am posting it here so I don't lose track of it. I hope you enjoy it as much as my husband's family always has.

This recipe was adapted from a crock pot beef stroganoff recipe here on 'zaar. We kind of added things as we went along, but it turned out really tasty! You can cook this in a crock pot or in a dutch oven on the stovetop.

This recipe comes courtesy of my MIL, Linda. I have not made this recipe yet, but think I will make it over the Thanksgiving holiday. My DH requested that I get this recipe from her and swears it is outstanding! 11-25-07 UPDATE: Made this the night before Thanksgiving for a quick and easy meal and it was great! Had a couple of issues with the chorizo sausage I bought because it turned out to not be in a casing, but other then that it was great. Would definitely make this again.

I got this off the back of a soup can and it is very tasty. It also does well assembling in advance and freezing. I sometime use risotto in place of the white rice and it comes out very creamy and tasty!

This recipe is great with either chicken or pork chops. I mix everything together and put it in a freezer bag and store it until I am ready to cook it. We like spicy food, so I usually double the curry powder.

This recipe is always a huge hit with our friends and family. It is written for cooking on a "Big Green Egg", but you could adapt it to any type of outdoor grill.

This is just a variation on chicken pot pie, but I substitute ground meat and cream of mushroom soup. I mix everything together and freeze it in a freezer bag until I am ready to bake it. Then I just thaw it out and add the crust batter.
