Found this awesome recipe in body & soul mag. We are usually not cauliflower fans, but this recipe makes it totally edible. The addition of chickpeas makes this a great vegetarian or vegan main course!

    Recipe #432956

Found this keeper in body & soul mag. I kinda just use this as a guide and add whatever other yummy veggies I have handy. I have tried adding mushrooms and red cabbage, both came out great. I served this over angel hair pasta and it is wonderful.

    Recipe #432955

I love falafel, so when I went to a local vegetarian restaurant I couldn't resist when I saw a lentil falafel wrap on the menu. It was so delish I wanted to go home and attempt to make my own. To my surprise I could not find a recipe on zaar. So I went searching the internet and did some tweaking and found a wonderful recipe. These falafel have a very soft, creamy texture while still maintaining a traditional falafel flavor. These are a new favorite around here. Thanks to monkeydish.com for getting me headed in the right direction.

This is a great soup bursting with flavor. It is also vegan! Tom Kha is a Thai soup.

This is a recipe from my mother (who yes is Chinese). I loved this chicken as a kid and couldn't believe how simple this recipe is. This comes out so crispy and delicious. Prep time does not include time needed for the seasoning to set.

I made these for a picnic and they were a big hit! No one knows how simple they are. They taste great, are easy, and a definite crowd-pleaser. Hope you like em as much as we do.

This is a yummy light summer salad. It's quite easy to put together and truly unique. This recipe is great for raw foodists, vegans, or those on a no gluten diet. Thanks for this great recipe vegetarian times.

    Recipe #419463

This recipe is really unique. I am generally not a big fan of cauliflower, but this soup tastes a lot like a light version of potato soup. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this.

    Recipe #419462

This is over the top death-by-chocolate chocolate cake. If you can't get enough chocolate this is the recipe for you. This is amazing, totally worth the work and to die for. If you are a chocoholic then please try this recipe. You will not be disappointed. I promise, you can't buy lava cake this good in a restaurant. I originally got this recipe from pastrychef.com but can't find it online anymore.

    Recipe #419429

This is as close as I have found to sangria in Spanish restaurants. No soda here! This is a mulled sangria that really draws out the flavors. Prep time does not include chilling overnight.

    Recipe #419427

These are a favorite for when we have company over. I love that this recipe calls for fresh ingredients rather than canned. Yes, it takes a little more time, but it's definitely worth the effort. Your tastebuds will thank you :)

    Recipe #419425

This is the best peanut butter cookie recipe I have ever had. I've had this recipe so long I don't remember where I got it, but if you LOVE PB this is the only cookie for you!

    Recipe #419354

These bars are truly delicious and healthy. I even shared them with my non-health nut friends and they thought they were great. Perfect for when you have a sweet tooth but don't want to go crazy. I got this great recipe from Vegetarian Times.

    Recipe #419347

I had this delicious dressing and salad at Glen Ivy. I ate this daily for a week straight after getting the recipe. It is a perfect light summer salad. I know the lavender dressing sounds weird but this is the best salad I've ever had so please give it a try.

    Recipe #419346

My favorite part of eating at a Mexican restaurant is the chips & salsa! So it seems to make more sense to make my own :) After months of experimenting this is the simplest and tastiest variation. But feel free to make it your own. This recipe makes 2-3 cups but I often double it and have salsa for a week or two.
