Yummy! You won't even miss the wheat!:] This could be made gluten-free by subbing brown rice flour (or other gluten-free flour) for the spelt flour and the oats. You may add some finely chopped nuts, if you'd like.

    Recipe #252133

This is just something I came up with today when I wanted sesame chicken but was out of soy sauce. I hope you like it as much as I did!

    Recipe #246170

This is my favorite oatmeal yet! I use smucker's natural peanut butter for this...you can use creamy or chunky. I don't need any honey or brown sugar in this, but I also don't have that much of a sweet tooth.:)

    Recipe #245492

This is a REALLY simple way to make tomato soup in a rush. It's cheaper to make than most canned soup, too! Use crushed tomatoes for a chunky soup and use sauce for a smooth soup.

    Recipe #245344

This is a nice eggnog for the kids that want to be like their parents around the holidays and have eggnog. Do be carful to make sure you have good eggs so you don't get ill. If you want to be extra-safe, use some eggbeaters, egg whites, or serve it warm.

    Recipe #245248

This is YUMMY!!! You can make it with a bit of almond, mint or vanilla axtract for a change. You could also add some instant coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, or cayenne pepper according to your taste. This can be a meal-in-a-cup if you add some protein powder or dried milk. Enjoy!;)

    Recipe #245149

A yummy drink to soothe your tummy.

    Recipe #245113

I was attempting to make a frittata out of this, and it flopped and became a very yummy scramble. I hope you like it as much as me!:)

    Recipe #243672

This is a very yummy shake for those that need to gain weight, athletes, or for people with no worries about their weight.;) You can substitute 2 1/2 cups of berries for the preserves if you'd like. Enjoy!

    Recipe #242651

This is a very yummy oatmeal I made up this morning.:) Mmm...a great reminder that summer is on it's way when when it's chilly in the spring! This is more for people like me that need a lot of calories. However, you can easily reduce the calories by ommitting the coconut oil and using regular milk or water. Not that it's as yummy then.;) Time does not include soaking since that is optional.

    Recipe #242596

This is just something I threw together last night. It's pretty bland as is, but you can always add more spice if you want. This is very inexpensive--you can get ground turkey pretty cheap, especially ground necks and backs. Great for sickies that need a bland diet!

    Recipe #242591

I love this at breakfast...or any time, for that matter! A very simple topping for toast when you're sick of jelly.;)

    Recipe #242337

A how-to on making a hard or soft hardboiled egg which are a fantastic, cheap, yummy source of protein! You can make as many as you like at a time.:)

    Recipe #242328

I love fruit yogurt, but I don't love all the added sugar in such a tiny container, so I came up with this. You can, of course, add a bit of sweetener if you prefer it that way, though I find it fine as it is.:) My favorite is blueberry with a bit of banana. Variations to try: 1/2 cup mashed banana 1/4 cup banana and 1/2 cup berries 1/4 cup dates or dried fruit

    Recipe #242122

I don't know what to call this, but it's yummy and very simple. 3 ingredients and a lovely way to have cabbage.:) I marked this under inexpensive as cabbage can be as low as 29 cents a pound at times.

    Recipe #241922

I love these pancakes...just don't expect very fluffy ones.

    Recipe #241836

This is the first chili I ever had and will always be my favorite.

    Recipe #241111

This is a super creamy, super sweet smoothie that I ADORE! If you want to make it a full meal, add some vanilla/plain protein powder or dry milk.

    Recipe #241019

These are a creation of mine...they are unique tasting muffins. Certainly out of the norm. If you want to try something new, try these! They are high in healthy fats and carbs.

    Recipe #240831

MAJOR COMFORT FOOD! This recipe is from Carnation's website. It is VERY cheesy, VERY dense and VERY creamy! It previously had only 2 cups of noodles, but no one would touch it without more over here. You can just use 2 cups if you'd like, everyone but me wanted more noodles, however. I just love cheese.*lol*
