This spread is great served with hot scones, but also fantastic on waffles or toast. It is a nice way to dress up an ordinary breakfast or brunch.

    Recipe #240904

I got this recipe off a can of enchilada sauce. It has all the components of a regular enchilada but without all the stuffing, rolling, and baking. To me this tastes like the chicken chilaquillas I used to get at a restaurant in Tucson. I always use red enchilada sauce, but you could easily use the green sauce if that is what you prefer.

    Recipe #242846

This is my husband's favorite sandwich, he loves fried egg sandwiches and also grilled cheese and this is a combination of the two. The secret ingredient here is mayonnaise, you put it on the outside of the bread instead of butter. I know that you all are probably think I am crazy, but I learned this trick working at a restaurant in college. Mayo on the outside of the bread will give you that crispy, crunchy, buttery goodness that you can only seem to get when you order grilled cheese from an old diner. Yum!

    Recipe #252474

This is a fast and filling meal. The pumpkin in the sauce adds a nice depth of flavor in addition to a lot of good nutrients. You can use canned pumpkin or fresh pumpkin puree. With Halloween around the corner this is a great way to use up some of your left over jack-o-lantern!

    Recipe #261116

My mom got this recipe off a cake mix box and we have been making it for years. It is very adaptable, incredibly easy, and very rich.

    Recipe #241281

These are quintessential bake sale cookies. This recipe will give you those beautiful 4-inch cookies you see at the bakery section of your grocery store. They are great for holidays because you can purchase the special holiday colored M&Ms. The recipe only makes 18 cookies, but I have doubled and even tripled it with success. If you decide to make multiple batches at one time then you will need to break out the big Kitchenaid mixer!!

    Recipe #260027

I found this recipe on a can of tomatoes. It tastes great right after it is made or even the next day. The addition of bacon adds a nice smokey flavor to this pasta salad. You could easily add some chopped cooked chicken and serve this on a bed of lettuce for a complete lunch.

    Recipe #328306

This is a bit of a tropical take on the Mexican wedding cookie. They are very pretty and quite festive because you roll the cookies in colored sugar. They look very nice on your holiday trays.

    Recipe #262184

I make this when I need a change from my breakfast of oatmeal. You can use any dried fruit that you would like. I serve this either hot or cold with a little bit of milk poured over the top.

    Recipe #241313

These are buttery rich and slightly spicy little gems that are dipped into chocolate. They are a great addition to any holiday tray.

    Recipe #260943

I love tassies! They are like the perfect little bite of pie, but sort of a cookie all at the same time. I got this recipe from one of the special holiday cookie publications that you see at the checkout counter. I somehow always get sucked into buying them! I have also made these with dried cherries and dried blueberries. I haven't decided which is my favorite, I love all three. I am going to post the recipe as written, which calls for refrigerated pie crust. However, I have used the dough from Recipe #118431 and it worked just fine.

    Recipe #261958

This spread is a great addition to any holiday table. It is best served with a sharp white cheddar cheese and hearty bread. You can use either fresh or canned pumpkin for this recipe. The cooking time is actually the time needed to cool the spread before you can use it.

    Recipe #261132

I haven't tried this recipe yet, but I found it on the Whole Foods website and it sounds amazing. I love fish tacos and I love Thai food, so I thought this is a perfect combination of the two! Cooking time is an estimate, and doesn't include marinading.

    Recipe #242190

This is a crock pot recipe my mom has been making for years. It is a nice change from plain old baked beans. It is great to take for pot lucks and bbq's.
