No more long, detailed and complicated chili recipes for me. This one is simply delicious! Yesterday we had surprise guests for a pre-season game. I couldn't find a recipe online that fit the bill so I whipped up this chili to feed a crowd and it was a hit. Super easy with canned ingredients I had in my pantry. You can adjust accordingly to feed less people or use paprika instead of chili powder for less heat. Perfect with cornbread or on hot dogs! Enjoy, I look forward to hearing how other foodies like this chili. :)

I love apple fritters. They remind me of my childhood. My dad bringing them home in the brown paper bag...still warm, with a hint of greasiness showing through the bag from just being fried and glazed. Mmmmm. Gotta give this recipe a try on a cold fall or winter day Courtesy of www.southernplate.com. I am posting my favorites for safe keeping, but she has tons of new, amazing recipes on a regular basis. :)

    Recipe #429700

A lighter version of this delicious cheese sauce. You can adjust flour, cheese, and milk for your desired thickness and lightness of this dish. Fresh basil and sliced mushrooms can be added in the last few minutes to add some heartiness. I serve with grilled (marinated in Italian dressing overnight) chicken breast and a side salad for balance. Enjoy! :)

    Recipe #428450

The juiciest, tastiest ribs you will ever have. I haven't made these in a few years, but I am posting this so I don't lose it. I plan on making this for my boyfriend when football season starts. P.S. Great with garlic bread :)

    Recipe #428432

My husband grew up on Hamburger Helper, Wonder Bread & Miracle Whip. My childhood was different, my mother is the most amazing cook. So good in fact that this Christmas our only gift was her cooking :-) I wanted to recreate his childhood favorite using fresh ingredients we all have readily available on a budget. As simple as my recipe is, it is far better then a pack of outdated dried pasta and dehydrated tomato sauce and he LOVES it! Enjoy, mix and match with your own ideas to this childhood classic so many of you have had. I can wait to see your reviews and ideas :-)
