This is another recipe my grandma submitted to the family cookbook she made for us. Her story for this recipe is as follows; "I got this recipe back in the 60s when I moved to Karnes City. I can't remember where I got it. I have used it many times over the years making kolaches and cinnamon rolls. My family always and still does like dessert. They are great to have on hand for thanksgiving or Christmas morning when everyone is hungry and you're busy trying to get the special holiday dinner prepared. The kolaches and cinnamon rolls can be made the day before or several days ahead and frozen. Please try your hand at these, I always loved making these, a little trouble, but you will get compliments. From scratch cooking and baking is a dying art." I have made these repeatedly since I received my cookbook for Christmas. They take a long time but are so rewarding!!! There are a bunch of variations that you can do with this dough, from sausage and cheese to fruit filed or making homemade cinnamon rolls, I will try and share the wealth with you guys.

This came from my slow cooker cook book. This was oh so oh sooooo good.

From www.TopSecretRecipes.com. I found this, haven't tried it but I am posting what was written with it. Rather than trying to beat the competitors - especially if they have an exceptional product - Mrs. Fields Famous Brands waves the cash at 'em. With the acquisition of Great American Cookies in 1998 by the company that made chewy mall cookies big business -- Mrs. Fields is now peddling her baked wares in more than 90 percent of the premier shopping malls in the United States. That's how you make the dough! One of the all-time favorites you can snag at any of the 364 Great American Cookies outlets is this clone of the classic snickerdoodle. Rolled in cinnamon and sugar, it's soft and chewy like the other cookies, and will seem to be undercooked when you take it out of the oven. When it cools it should be gooey, yet firm in the middle. And a couple bites will make you wonder: "Got milk?!"

    Recipe #245693

I decided to refer to my cookbook collection to find a tasty meal last night and this was the ticket. Richard prepared it and was tickled ppink with how well it turned out. We made 4 large breasts so we used some more oil than called for and cooked them slowly so they wouldn't burn etc. This came from my Favorite brand Name Best-Loved Recipies cookbook. This tasted like rice a roni with moist chicken... yummy!

    Recipe #315443

I couldn't find what i wanted, or maybe i did, but i ended up just mixing this together. This was TASTY! I don't know exact measurements so i am guessing, but I know it was enough for 4 mushrooms. I made it on two so I am going to suggest 4. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as we did. You can sub the canned chicken for cooked chicken as well as fresh tomatoes, it is all i had ready at the time.

We had milk and ham to use, so I came up with this. Richard and I agree this is something that is not the best as a leftover so have people over to eat it. This tastes very rich but is tasty. I hope you like it.

    Recipe #251814

I bought a ten pounder and had misfit Thanksgiving at our house this year. We couldn't make it home due to work, etc , so we had everyone here that found themselves in the same situation. Dinner was great and so was this simple glazed ham. The meat came out tender and the glaze was perfect! Everyone raved. I got a regular fully cooked smoked ham and put glaze on it myself, rather than paying a ton of $$ for a spiral cut glaze pack included ham...

    Recipe #342115

I threw this together last night and was really pleased with the results.

    Recipe #365655

This is one of my mom's recipes, and it is just to die for. I made it the other night to take to a dinner party at a friend's and it was a hit! The person that didn't like peaches gobbled it up as well... I have had to edit this damn thing three times because they are not satisfied... I am going to put amounts of things, but make the frikkin cake like the box instructs...

    Recipe #241102

I created this on a whim, and it came out alright. This is just a collaboration of things try it out. We had this with oven roasted corn on the cob and a wonderful fresh salad.

    Recipe #239760

These are so yummy. My aunt submitted them to our family cookbook her story is as follows; "These cookies were served in the cafeteria when I was in elementary school. My daughter Leeann made these and entered them in the county fair and received a blue ribbon!!! The reason I chose this recipe is because they are my favorites!" I love these as well, and you can leave out the cocoa for a peanut butter jiffy rather than peanut butter and chocolate.

    Recipe #238714

Oh man are these tasty!!! I typically purchase groceries that will last the month so I do not have to bother with the hustle and bustle of the grocery store more than that. As a result I have to be a little more inventive as my resources deplete. I went to big lots yesterday and found a can of enchilada sauce and figured that could make us a great meal and i could finally try my hand at enchiladas... Folks we just had the best damn enchiladas that ever passed our lips and i came straight here to record the magic and share with y'all. These were easy to prepare and coupled with refried beans and spanish rice we were utterly satisfied, i hope you enjoy this...

    Recipe #238928

I altered a recipe my aunt put in our family cookbook because the ingredients I had did not match what it required, but it is a great one dish meal. The original recipe called for sausage 3 potatoes an onion and a bell pepper...
