I was going to make Chicken Guisada II the other night, but I ended up with this which just hit the spot! This was oh so tasty in some HEB Southwest tortillas. For those of you who have never heard of HEB they were tortillas that had jalapeno in them. These made juicy tacos but they were worth the mess!

My soon to be in-laws have been vegetarian for longer than my boyfriend has been alive. They eat morning star for meat. I will admit that is good stuff, well sometimes, but not the real deal. I was given a huge roast this past Christmas and told to cook it. I was severed from the land of high speed internet, so I winged it and the results were to die for. The meat was tender and the veggies perfect, and the sauce left behind was great to put over the meat and well everything else in my opinion.

    Recipe #276422

I threw this together tonight because I had a dirty kitchen. I thought to myself what is in my cabinets that can make a one dish wonder and after I added a little of this and that I got a new dish. This tasted great but the next time I make this I will add corn maybe green beans. I played it safe for the first attempt, I didn't want to ruin to much food.

    Recipe #276216

Richard and I enjoy this every time it gets cold.

    Recipe #274160

Richard and I were famished last night when we finally made it home. I stared into the freezer and cupboards and this is what ended up coming out of them. I thought this was very tasty and thought I would come and share this simple dish with all of you.

My mother passed the torch of making sausage balls every Christmas to me about ten years ago. These are my brother's favorite thing at our Christmas eve gathering at grandmother's. This is really simple to make and very tasty. I don't believe I have seen this on zaar yet, well this version anyhow. Cook time is for one round of cooking the balls, depending on how much you make etc you can gauge how long it will take. The small velveeta bricks are the size you need and the regular jimmy dean tube of pan sausage.

    Recipe #270541

I made this by combining what I have seen in a few recipes for carrot soup. I needed to use up the ham left from thanksgiving, the results were wonderful, I hope you enjoy.

I was in the studio on Halloween night working on my metals project for over seven hours. Richard had the day off so he decided to surprise me with a nice supper. He prepared this dish, and I have only been teaching him how to cook for a short while. He based it off a recipe he found but he tweaked it quit a bit. The results were outstanding, I hope you agree.

    Recipe #263250

Richard made this for himself while I was at school the other day. i have had him make it for twice since. This is a great quick fix and it is egg so there is plenty of protein. The Gorgonzola may be to much for some but we love stinky cheese round these parts... lol

    Recipe #261855

I made this recipe up last night and had Richard cook it. I am trying to teach him his way around the kitchen because he doesn't really know what to do in there. I thawed out a whole chicken and decided this is what we would do with it and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

    Recipe #260442

I throw this together with a lot of meals here because it is quick and delicious. I started makin ghtis when I bought a bunch of new potatoes at a farmer's market in Luling.

    Recipe #260435

Richard suggested I name this Creamy Camp Stew because I cooked it in his dutch oven, and it could be made at a camp site. I pulled this idea from many sources and tried it out. The results left an empty pot. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did. The cook time is a guesstamate, it may have taken a little less, it was suprisingly quick...

    Recipe #260012

I wanted to use some Granny Smith apples in the kitchen. They were to big for me to eat in one sitting, so I created this pie to use up the three large apples I had. This recipe is a collaboration of many ideas, it was awesome!!! I am listing all the ingredients in a long list, but they create the graham cracker crust, the filling and the crumble topping.

    Recipe #259790

I made this up tonight because I wanted to use some of the veggies I had in the fridge. This came out great, and the sauce would be great on its own. the amount of chicken is 2 breasts not 2 1/2 pounds.

    Recipe #259146

I whipped this up tonight because it seemed as though it would hit the spot. Boy did it! I wanted to record the magic here.

    Recipe #258969

I found this somewhere online and just cooked it up for diner tonight. Everyone loved it!!! Four cheese mashed potatoes, fried okra and sweet kernal corn were our sides with a biscut for bread. Two college students pooled resources and made enough to fill two growin men(boys). I baked the chicken for an hour and twenty minutes in the end and it was perfect, also I doubled the amount of honey mix but used only one egg yolk, also I used sweet cream butter (unsalted) and drizzled maybe 2 tbs honey over chicken in the last 10 minutes. I basted at 20 minutes then 50, turned chicken baked 20 minutes basted and baked 10 more. All that said this is a winner and i will make it again.
