    Awesome Crockpot Roast With Gravy
    Handle

I have based this recipe on one that I've used from here several times, Recipe#57130 posted by kcdelong. Even though the original was very good, sometimes you can't help but adding your own special tweaks.:)As usual with any of my recipes, please feel free to change any of the seasonings to your own personal tastes. If you like you can add a 1 pound bag of baby carrots before you add the roast. The time that's listed is based upon my crockpot,so adjust cooking times according to yours. If you would like more color, just slightly brown each side of the roast in a small amount of vegetable oil.Posted to Food.com (a.k.a." Select
    Mashed Potato Biscuits
    Handle

I based this recipe off of one I found in the Taste of Home's " 2012 The Best Of Country Cooking " . It was sent in to them by Susan Plante of Bennington,Vermont. To get a more workable dough, I had to add quite a bit more of flour to the recipe.Since I had to add more flour, these biscuits will be on the dense side. I will list the changes that I made in parenthesis. Submitted to Food.com ( a.k.a. " ZAAR " )on January 23rd.2013

    Seasoned Turkey Patty Soup
    Handle

I had a turkey patty leftover from Recipe#147396 By CulinaryQueen and along with a few other " odds & ends " decided to create a simple soup. I think this a very good way to use leftovers.Feel free to adjust the seasonings according to your own tastes.I wanted to put in " Seasoned Turkey Patty " as one of the ingredients but wasn't able to.Posted to Food.com (a.k.a. Recipe #493761

    Select
    Crab Cake & Egg Scramble
    Handle

I had a small little crab cake left from Recipe#250972 By Recipe Reader and wanted to do something different with it besides just re-heating it. So the cake, and a few other little ingredients became a very enjoyable breakfast. Unless you use the same recipe as I did for the Crab Cake, you may not get the same taste as I did. But everyone likes to put their own spin on recipes, so that's o.k. :) If desired, serve with your favorite bread or English muffin toasted. Posted to Food.com (a.k.a. Recipe #493548

    Select
    Angel Chicken
    Handle

Before I get on with the description of this recipe, I would like to thank Chef Iron Bloomers for suggesting the name. Now I had some leftover chicken from Recipe#472662 and a box of Angel Hair Pasta with Herbs and wanted to create something different and came up with this. The ingredients I list are whats on the particular brand of pasta that I used.If you use a different type of boxed pasta or chicken you might come up with something slightly different in taste. But that's o.k.,everyone likes to put their own " spins & tweaks " to a recipe. :) Posted to Food.com ( a.k.a. " ZAAR " ) on January 4th.,2013.

    Quick Bean and Bacon Soup

I needed a quick dinner and had no idea what to make. So, I did some "scrounging " and came up with this very thick and hearty soup. If you would like to add more bacon and onion please feel free to add it. Some people call white beans " Great Northern ".Posted to Food.com (a.k.a. "ZAAR") on January 3rd. 2013.

    Recipe #492934

    Select
    Cabbage,Carrot & Meatball Soup
    Handle

I had some leftover cooked cabbage, along with some leftover cooked baby carrots that needed to be used up. And so I combined them with some frozen Italian Meatballs, along with a few other things and made what I think is a very good soup. For the Italian Salad Dressing mix, I used Recipe#63812 by BeachGirl. As with any of my recipes, please adjust the seasonings according to your own personal tastes.Submitted to Food.com (a.k.a. Recipe #488387

    Select
    Crispy Ranch Fries
    Handle

I found this recipe in the 2012 Edition of Taste of Home's Quick Cooking Annual Recipes. I wish I could give credit to the author, but there wasn't a name listed. Also, there wasn't a specific type of french fry to use listed, but from the photo in the cookbook it was shoestring fries. So, that's what I used.If you want the sauce to be a bit more on the " Tangy " side add the sweet pickle relish to the mayo/ketchup dipping sauce. Not only do they taste good, but since they're baked in the oven they're also on the healthy side. Select
    Pimento Cheese Stuffed Deviled Eggs
    Handle

I like Deviled Eggs and I like Pimento Cheese, and thought " Why not combine the two ? "This recipe only makes enough for 2, so if you need more, adjust everything accordingly. Now with the amounts of the ingredients they are just " guesstimates ". So if you want to add more salt, pepper, sugar, and paprika that's strictly up to you." Cook time " is chill time.Submitted to Food.com ( a.k.a. " ZAAR " )on April 24th.2012
