Kinda like a beef stew but made with venison. Our family prefers it this way as the venison has more flavour and less fat.

    Recipe #400182

I got this recipe from the Betty Crocker Easy Meals for Diabetes. the book is now falling apart and I keep losing this recipe. Its one of my favorites to take for lunches and I wanted to post it so I can't lose it. If you don't have fresh basil leaves, the freeze dried kind works okay too. This can be made without the mint, but it adds a nice flavour. Hope you enjoy.

    Recipe #309802

Lightened up version of a recipe from a friend. DH loves them. Note - this recipe makes a double batch of muffins and prep time is calculated using a food processor to grate carrots and apples

    Recipe #308419

This recipe is from a Betty Crocker cookbook - Easy Meals for Diabetes. The recipe called for 1/2 cup taco sauce (I couldn't find this so I substituted dry seasoning and water). Great to pack in lunches if dressing is added later.

    Recipe #266707

Adapted from the Starvin' Guy Chicken Pie recipe in the Looneyspoons Cookbook. This is great for left over chicken or turkey, is low in fat and super tasty.

    Recipe #266665

My Mom found this recipe years ago (I don't know where), and it became an instant favourite. We have this every time we have a family get together or holiday. You can use any fresh or frozen fruit for this. This is similar to recipe #55935.
