The one and only time my dad cooks each year is to make this for my birthday! I can't even express how good it is. I finally snatched the recipe with all the secret touches and served it for a dinner party. Just as I had hoped it was a huge hit, everyone went wide eyed and back for seconds. It seems like a lot of steps because I don't want to leave out the tips that make this great. Really it's pretty easy, read through instructions before you begin. This recipe feeds an army so I always put leftovers in ziploc bags and freeze for later or put on top of nachos the next day!

I was planning to make recipe#113299 for a Christmas party and wanted a chocolate tart as well so I just made it up as I went along! They turned out great!! Half way through the party they were all gone, people were hoarding them because they were disappearing so fast! They taste alot like Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, can't go wrong there :)

    Recipe #404336

I can't remember where I found this recipe but it's a keeper. Very basic, I had never made mashed potatoes from scratch before and was asked to bring them to Thanksgiving dinner a few years ago. I was nervous so I made sure to use a great and easy recipe. They turned out perfect, nobody knew I was a mashed potato virgin!!! This recipe serves 4, but I had to serve 16 so here are the large measurements- 24 potatoes, 1 c butter, about 2 c milk

    Recipe #404067

This was my favorite breakfast when I was young...wait... it still is! These are wonderful and very easy, you can fill and top with anything. We enjoy them with my recipe#402380 or syrup! Deelish!

    Recipe #403794

Ahhhhh! Scary! These are so fun for a Halloween party, children and adults both devour them. They are different than the usual recipe because you add Butterfinger candy bars for a nice crunch!

    Recipe #403566

So easy and so delicious! This jam is sweet with just a hint of tartness. For Christmas I gave out pint jars with home-made mini loaves of bread to my co-workers, after Christmas break they all said it was the best jam they had ever had, a few even asked if they could buy some from me because it was already gone!!!

    Recipe #402380

I made this for Halloween Night and my guests were so impressed. My dad couldn't stop raving about it, he thought I bought it from a bakery or Cake Boss! The pistachio filling is soooo good. I serve with Blue Bunny Pistachio Almond ice cream, yum! Please read directions throughly before starting the tips will help. Recipe from Phyllis Hoffman "Celebrate" Halloween Edition

    Recipe #401944

My husbands favorite dessert is Lemon Meringue Pie, whenever he is away on business he knows there will be one waiting at home for him! I struggled my first couple times (trying to keep up with my MIL) with the meringue, either it shrank, weeped or my crust was too thin. So I finally looked up a "how to" for meringue. This recipe and directions have really helped me and now my pies are beautiful every time! Read through the steps before starting to be sure you will not miss any. Recipe by Sherry Tomfeld, web

    Recipe #399194

Fresh tomato, avocado, mushrooms and sprouts on grilled wheat bread topped with melted mozzarella! Deeelish! I had this at a local restaurant, it seemed so simple so I decided to try it at home. I make it at least once a week now it is my favorite, I'm not even a vegetarian. Do not saute' the mushrooms they are meant to eat fresh. It's AWSOME!

    Recipe #399170

I know this sounds a little different, I thought so too when my friend had me over for breakfast. You won't be disappointed...my DH even loves them! I have also used egg beaters for a lighter touch. This is now my favorite way to eat eggs!

    Recipe #392260

Not your average meatloaf! The Heinz 57 sauce just gives this great flavor, not too strong, just like a hidden ingredient! I always serve with Catalina dressing to dip it in...AWESOME! The leftovers make great meatloaf sandwiches I butter two slices of bread, put on med. heat frying pan, top one slice with cheese, top cheese with fresh sliced mushrooms then add warmed meatloaf on top, until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown. On the other toasted slice spread mayo. Top meatloaf with a good amount of Heinz 57 and place the two pieces together. Y-U-M.

    Recipe #392072

The DH & I are trying to cut back a bit so I have had to be creative making things we used to enjoy healthy! I found this searching the web for low carb snacks. It is great with fresh veggies and also on crackers!!!

    Recipe #391554

I use this recipe many different ways... I usually make rice, shred the chicken and serve on top or I make BBQ sandwiches (if you make sandwiches, before shredding add some flour or cornstarch mix to the leftover sauce and heat if you like a thick sauce, I never do but we don't mind it a bit thinner) I always like a little crunch in my sandwiches so that's why I've added the peppers, they are sweet and cut thin so they don't take away from the chicken! I have also used the leftovers in roll-ups for lunches...so many possibilities.

    Recipe #391396

I just love coming home from a long day at work to a cooked dinner! Right when you walk in the door you can smell the wonderful soup, so we dig in as soon as we can!

    Recipe #391064

This recipe is great with either chicken or ground beef, it always hits the spot! Thanks mom for the recipe!

    Recipe #391061

This is just something I came up with when making toasted garlic french bread! Sometimes I add shredded cheese on top during the last few minutes, yummy!

    Recipe #391046

There are a bunch of different varieties for this recipe on Zaar but not one exactly like this so I thought I would post! This is my brother Travis' favorite dinner, we have it every year on his birthday!

    Recipe #391041

This recipe has great flavor, O'brien potatoes with pork chops, awesome combination!

    Recipe #391031

My DH's absolute all time favorite meal! He could eat this every night if I let him. I always make this when we have guests, and they ask for the recipe every time! It will be nice to have it on here now so I can just print it out!!! If you freeze this please double the sauce, for some reason it gets a bit dry in the freezer.

    Recipe #391024

My dog is picky, PERIOD! Who knew what I was getting myself into when we got the fluff ball! He is horribly picky and gets diarrhea from most canned dog foods. After trying TONS of different types, I finally researched homemade dog foods. This recipe was the first and the last we will ever use. He no longer gets diarrhea and can't wait for dinner time! We have been using it for about 2 years and our vet says he eats better than she does! It makes ALOT so I freeze week portions in freezer bags, it will feed him for 5 1/2 weeks!
