I got this recipe from my dear friend Jackie, and have been absolutely hooked on it since!

    Recipe #239599

Pulled from Fine Cooking Magazine (Feb/Mar. 2008)--my current FAVORITE cooking magazine. I made it last night for the family, and WHOA, is it good! Granted I am blessed with two little boys and a husband who love nearly all food, but they all liked this one A LOT! It isn't overly brothy--consider adding a couple more cups of broth if you like it more "wet." It's garlicky, fairly simple, and very nutritious! The magazine says it's best served with crusty cheese toasts. I did just that, and served it with (Safeway brand) frozen five-cheese toast. YUM!

    Recipe #289268

Flaky, forgiveable and stays crispy under the soggiest circumstances! And did I mention delicious?!

    Recipe #239831

Simple but very delicious! Holds great at room temperature--the perfect potluck salad!

    Recipe #239868

Just as good if not better than the restaurant. And, as those Jiffy cake mixes become harder to find, this will always be available!

    Recipe #239601

I got this from a Southern Living Crock-Pot cookbook. It's so creamy and delicious, just the way it ought to taste! It's a great meal for kids and husbands alike! (The cookbook used everything full fat and a 1/2 tsp. more salt; I've chosen to lighten it up a bit where I didn't see it would change the taste or texture.) Don't worry about overcooking it if you need to leave it longer than it says. I usually throw it together in the morning before work, leave the crockpot on high, and when I come home at 5pm to finish, it's still fine. You should regard the cooking time as minimum time needed.

    Recipe #289260

I got this recipe out of the Paula Deen magazine, March/April 2008 issue. Made it for myself for my birthday, and everyone REALLY loved it. It is a dense, extremely moist cake. It didn't last long at all when I broke it out. For me, I would say it could stand a bit more tangerine flavor, but it was quite good. I wonder if adding orange extract to the batter would make a difference? Maybe next time. . . I also think you could substitute any other kind of citrus, equal amounts, with the same delicious results.

    Recipe #293536

An attractive treat for any gathering. The salad makes a lot, is delicious, and beautiful to boot! Fabulous for all the great summer fruits.

    Recipe #241871

I've had this from a deli case at my favorite local gourmet market. They use a nut-filled tortellini, but as that's not always available, I've substituted cheese filled. It is absolutely the best pasta salad I've ever tried.

    Recipe #239870

I had this dish at Italian restaurant chain, Buca di Beppo, and fell instantly in love. I came home and tried to recreate it, and had pretty good success. I get a lot of requests for this recipe, and I think it's a great one for entertaining! Not for the faint of heart--it definitely has a good kick to it.

    Recipe #256807

I think I got this recipe from Fine Cooking Magazine--great read! This simple, tasty side dish reminds me a little of paella, and is so delish--it goes great with just about everything, but I particularly like it with salmon or my Recipe #241378.

    Recipe #241374

A great little appetizer of fresh mozzarella and tomato spears, drizzled with a basil vinaigrette. No one can eat just one!

    Recipe #242034

A pretty little appetizer for those hot summer days, or when you just don't feel like "cooking".

    Recipe #240442

A favorite of the boys I cook for once a week. It takes me back to the good ol' days where you could actually find good, homemade macaroni salad at your sandwich shop.

    Recipe #258459

My friend Wendy introduced me to Honey Garlic Pork Chops at an amazing Chinese restaurant in town, Sea Garden. They are absolutely so delicious--I had to come home and try to recreate them. This is as close as I can get.

    Recipe #246930

Another recipe from Moosewood Restaurant. A delicious "wafer," similar to goldfish crackers. Serve with Recipe #241528.

    Recipe #241527

One of three recipes--also try my Memphis Style Pork Ribs or Kansas City Ribs. Nothing fancy, but folks will rave about these melt-in-your-mouth delights. These are sweet, savory, a bit spicy and have a unique eastern flair.

    Recipe #258584

Everyone loves cheesy hashbrown casserole, right? The cheese crackers inside and on top push this one over the edge!

    Recipe #241693

Every time I make this, I get a lot of great reviews. I think I got the recipe years ago in a Taste of Home magazine. I always make extra dressing and keep it around (practically forever), as it tastes great on everything!

    Recipe #241631

One of three recipes--also try my Kansas City Ribs or Chinese Five-Spice Ribs. Nothing fancy, but folks will rave about these melt-in-your-mouth delites. These are a bit smoky tasting and very savory.
