I wanted to make chimichangas but all the recipes I found were so bland. So I combined some ingredients that I knew worked well together and supplemented with the other ingredients from several recipes. And it turned out delicious! Make sure to make the cheese dip to that is also in the recipe.

    Recipe #386738

My cuttingboards are all wood and I don't like to clean them with just warm water and soap. After I wash them I normally pour some hydrogen peroxide on them which works great. But one day I did not have any so I decided I would need to use an alternative. Instead I poured some lemon juice on it because lemon juice is a natural bleach. It worked great! I thought this may be helpful to some other people that would like to use something to clean the wooden cuttingboard that is natural instead of using bleach. Cook time is the amount of time it takes to complete the cleaning process. I went ahead and listed both cleaning products but don't use both at the same time. Use lemon juice OR use hydrogen peroxide. The formatting said that the recipe had to have more than 1 ingredient.

    Recipe #382715

This recipe is from my mother-in-law. I had never eaten homemade hushpuppes until I met her. They are really good. We always have them when we have a fish fry. I went ahead and listed the cornmeal she used to use but it is not made anymore so I will continue to look for another brand that is good. If you know of a great brand, please write a note in the comment field. Thanks! Enjoy!

    Recipe #380889

This cheese dip is from my sister. She brings it to nearly every family gathering and it gets demolished. Don't tell anyone about the ingredients until they have tried the dip. I wouldn't have tried it if I knew mushroom soup was in it but you can't even notice them with the other ingredients. This dip is delicious.

    Recipe #380870

This came from my sister. She gave me the recipe card because she never made it. I think it's from one of those recipe cards that you sometimes get in the mail. Well the picture on the card looks phenomenal so I finally decided to give it a try. I used this cooking time and stuffing for the inside of the chicken and then used Recipe #59580 from the recipezaar website as a rub for the outside. It was delicious.

    Recipe #242533

I love my mom's cooking, it's a fact. Her spaghetti is awesome and this is the only way I make it now. It has lots of veggies in it which I am not a fan of, but they are chopped so small that you basically don't even see them, great for kids who are picky eaters, that's how she got all of us to eat them!

    Recipe #239625

I am very picky when it comes to chili and I have tried so many different recipes. Well my mother-in-laws is very, very good so I finally asked her for the recipe and I wrote it down. Now this is the only one I make! Very good and very easy!!

    Recipe #239624

This is one easy and simple dinner and taste good too! Add different toppings if you like. These are approximations on the sauce and cheese, I haven't actually measured them before, so do the amounts that you desire.

    Recipe #239623

These are so addictive and so yummy! My sister got the recipe when she was in elementary school and as a family we have made sure to keep up with it, especially now that all 3 of us girls are married now. They are a favorite of many people in our family and even coworkers. Try them, they take hardly any time to make, and the best part you don't even "cook" them. Cook time is refrigerating.

    Recipe #239622

This is one of my favorite childhood memories. Dad would make these and all of us would eat them so I finally asked mom and dad how to make them. These are just approximations so add more salt or oil to your liking. These are so tasty!

    Recipe #239621

This is my mom's recipe. I was raised on stuffing (my parents are from up north but now live in the south), not dressing so if I want stuffing when I have a turkey I either have to go to my mom's house or I have to make it myself. My mom is not a recipe kind of person but I helped her make it (so I could learn) and wrote it down as we went. These are all appoximations since I tend to vary the amounts as I cook it just like she does in her cooking. One thing is for sure, it's delicious!!! Oh yeah, it makes enough for an army... I am not sure about the cooking time, it could be more, depending if you cook it in a turkey or less if not, for the most part everything is cooked except the vegetables. ENJOY!

    Recipe #239620

My Grandmother was a really good cook. This is one of the biggest memories I have of her because she made this green cake. Yes, green! It is so good!!

    Recipe #239412

This is a recipe that my sister got from a friend. It is served cold so it is different from most dips that you eat with chips but very good and simple!

    Recipe #239403

This cheese dip has been in my family for a long time. Again, my sister got it from a friend. It's delicious and very simple!

    Recipe #239402

These are excellent enchiladas. Yes, there really is spinach in them! They are very rich and very filling, you will be stuffed. My husband and I got them from my sister-in-law. My husband raved about them and then told me there was spinach in them and wanted me to try them. I told him he was crazy. Well I tried them and they are so good, and I don't even like spinach and he doesn't either. You have to try these!!! You will love them!

    Recipe #239401

This recipe is from my sister-in-law and it is unlike any cheese dip I have ever had. It is delicious! Great for showers and family get togethers. You will love it!

    Recipe #239397

This cheese dip is awesome. It's from my older sister and her husband. We absolutely love it and are hooked on it. We have it at family get togethers and my husband and I normally make it when we decide to have a mexican dinner or lunch. He loves the dip and I believe you and your family will too. This recipe makes alot of dip so I half the recipe for my husband and I and we still have leftovers. You can make this on the stovetop, that's the cooking time I gave or let it cook in a crockpot on LOW for a few hours. Just continue to stir it regardless if you cook it on the stove or in a crockpot.

    Recipe #239395

This recipe is from my Oma (grandmother in German). She was from a town in Austria and I must say one of the best cooks. I have started making some of the recipes she had written down and this soup is by far one of my family's favorite memories of her and her best cooking. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

    Recipe #235249

This recipe is from a Dining book from a visitor's station in Myrtle Beach. I decided to try it and haven't stopped making it. It is so delicious and easy!!! I have listed some of the changes I do too, like not refrigerating but freezing instead because I like it being really, really cold but you make it however you like. Let me know how it goes. Enjoy!

    Recipe #235243

I got this over email from a friend and haven't tried it yet. Let me know how it is and I will give it a try when I get a chance to make it. It sounds delicious!
