This recipe is from my Grandma, which I got from my mom. No sugar, just cucumbers, milk, white vinegar, onion, salt and pepper. Simple flavor and simple to make. You don't have to let it sit a long time before you can eat it. Great on a hot summer day.
My Grandma, whom with my Uncle's family raises thousands of chickens to sell their eggs, got this recipe from an egg customer. It uses Henri's Classic Private Blend Tas-tee salad dressing. You can't find it at every grocery store. She uses this recipe now instead of her usual Miracle Whip and mustard based recipe. It still has a tangy flavor but it is sweeter than the Miracle Whip versions. I searched all over Recipezaar for this but could not find it.
My husband's Great Grandma made this for him and his sibilings when they came to visit. Only five ingredients, simple and easy to make. Ground beef, corn, cream style corn, peas, and mac & cheese. A real kid pleaser and one of my husband's favorites. I couldn't find anything else like it on the Zaar.
I found this recipe on a box of Mrs. Grass Recipe, Soup & Dip Mix, made by Wyler's. I like to add artichokes to fit my liking. I like cold and hot spinach dip. This recipe is meant to be cold but it could probably be good served warm too, heat in the oven till bubbly.
This is a cold pizza made with salmon, cream cheese, mayo, dill, ranch dressing mix and capers. It's very simple and easy to make. The hardest part is baking the crust! I came up with this after trying a veggie pizza recipe that I really loved. This is a regular at family gatherings. Hope you enjoy.
