Wanted to find a quick, easy, hummus recipe that didn't call for tahini (which I never have on hand)...

    Recipe #373535

Tasty and totable, this dish is perfect for potlucks. Serve with warm garlic bread and a mixed-greens salad. I like to add both cheese and meat frozen ravioli for this dish. This is from Betty Crocker's Simple Slow Cooker Recipes.

    Recipe #349264

This if from Taste of Home's Stews & Casseroles book. We've tried other recipes in this book that were good but this will be the first time we;ve tried this recipe.

    Recipe #348889

This is a recipe I want to try that I found on the lid to my plain yogurt this morning. Hope others find it intriguing as well but just wanted to post it so I have it in my collection ;).

    Recipe #339613

This is from a cookbook called "Best of the Best" and is attributed to the "Lee Bros". Been called a cross between sweet potato pie and cheesecake. OK,...I've since made it and the Buttermilk I think makes it taste so "off" what a sweet potato pie traditionally is that I thought it was just plain awful. My DH loves sweet potato pie (I'm a pumpkin pie fan) and swears I made this for Thanksgiving to sway our sons to dislike sweet potato pie and join the pumpkin ranks. It was too tangy and curdly. Good luck. Any suggestions on how to fix it would be appreciated...maybe just take the buttermilk clear out and replace with milk?...

    Recipe #339442

Had some things laying around in the pantry...badabing...I had chili. My DH raved about it and said it was better than all of those "from scratch" chilis I'd made in the past!

    Recipe #327299

My husband's cousin gave this recipe to me while with relatives in GA. She raved about this cake and others in the room, who'd had it already, begged for the recipe. Hoping to try it out around the holidays. Let me know what you think!

    Recipe #327290

My husband and I took the boys for a walk and stopped at a local burger joint to look at their menu. They had a "taco burger" on the menu and it seemed really weak but I thought it had potential as a quick really good recipe. We grilled up some of them tonight and they really hit the spot. My mouth is still tingling as I type! You can adjust the heat by changing the cheese, tomatoes or how much seasoning you add.

    Recipe #327280

My mommy's group had a cookie bake-off for the holidays last Christmas then exchanged recipes. I thought these cookies were really really yummy and needed to input it (finally--6 mos later) before I lost the recipe! Hope you enjoy.

    Recipe #304389

This is a very delicious recipe but it has A LOT of ingredients. Once I make it, I make it again and again until the more unusual ingredients run out...no one gets bored or complains because it's that good. I found it in the "Pasta" book from the Food and Wine Books. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have. It has a little KICK to it too! 19 ingredients in just a couple of steps...

    Recipe #263743

This recipe for picadillo comes out really well and uses 1/2 a cup of beer. I don't drink often so I have to buy a six pack to make this recipe and end up drinking the rest of the opened bottle while cooking. That's where the "buzz" comes from--the meal itself won't get you drunk promise! This is a very hearty and interesting take on "chili"

    Recipe #263737

My toddler won't eat his veggies...yes, I've tried repeatedly with various items. A friend suggested making smoothies and putting veggies in it. I poo poo'd it (to myself) until I FINALLY tried it last week. Needless to say, he's had (AND FINISHED) smoothies every day. I've given him kale, spinach, carrots, and sweet peas so far. I now buy a bunch of frozen fruits, berries, and veggies and keep them in the freezer. When I feel Mr. Picky needs a shot of veggies I make him one of these smoothies and he usually gobbles it up. However, depending on your child and which combo you choose to put in there he may reject it. Experiment and enjoy!

    Recipe #263734

Just made this one up today when the little guy had refused veggies all day (again). This is super simple and can be served cold or warm...up to you (or the toddler). Enjoy!

    Recipe #263729

I like this recipe because it's easy and is great left over. My husband found it in the Better Homes & Gardens "One Dish Meals" booklet at the supermarket. It's one of our good old standbys.
