Thanks to Kathy Moravec for turning me on to this recipe. It is sooooo easy to make good caramels. Please note that Confectioner's waxed twisting paper can be located at many cake decorating outlets packaged by Lorann Oils.

    Recipe #441924

This recipe was developed after trying different Veggie pizzas at various potlucks and me running short on time. It's a good thing the people I work with are good guinea pigs. Prep time varies depending on how much hands on chopping vs my new friend the salad shooter for the grating. Recipe can be easily halved. Just use a 9x13 pan instead of the jelly roll pan. You can use either prepared ranch dip or grab a 16 ounce container of sour cream and a packet of ranch dip mix.

    Recipe #68649

Found this in one of the hundreds of food magazines I have lying around. It has become a family favorite. Especially when I made it diabetic friendly by replacing the sugar with Splenda granular.

    Recipe #428835

Started out in the church cookbook and has been modified to allow for low sodium and low sugar diets. Making it in a ziploc bag makes transporting it to potluck or picnic quite easy. If people eating it have issues with nuts (diverticulits and the like) the nuts can successfully be left out or mixed and served on the side.
