    This is a wonderfully filling soup that is a complete meal in one dish. If you use full fat italian sausage, you will need to drain the fat before adding the liquid ingredients or skim the fat from the soup as it simmers. The spice paste here is my Moroccan spice paste with added olive oil but I've copied it out here in full to make the recipe easier to use. Cooking time includes time for the spices to blend. Thanks to a review, here is a suggestion if using a convection oven- cook for 40 minutes total, the first 15 mins at 350F and thereafter turn it up to 400F.

    I lived in Paris for 4 months and in Valladolid, Spain for 6 months as a student and in both cities, the traditional everyday breakfast was this (although some adults have black coffee rather than chocolate milk!). In Spain I lived with a local family and everyone had a variation of this breakfast each day. It really hits the spot and with some fruit it is a well-balanced breakfast. This is a great way for kids to have fun learning about other parts of the world and works well with a class of schoolchildren. I haven't specified amounts for the toppings as that's all down to personal taste.

    This is a yummy variation on the classic kids' treat. I like my rice krispie squares to be heavy on the mallow so if you prefer, feel free to add more rice krispies to the mix! I don't have easy access to good maple syrup this side of the pond so please feel free to adjust that amount too- 2 tablespoons of the fake stuff I get here is about right but you may need less of the real thing! If you want to make less, half of this recipe fits in a loaf tin beautifully.

    The Mediterranean flavours of mozzarella, tomato and basil blend beautifully to make this a flavourful and attractive quiche. You could use an unbaked pie shell rather than dough- this is just how I make it. If your quiche pan is tall, you may like to increase the egg and cream mixture in a ratio of 4 eggs: 1 cup cream.

    I came up with this while trying to find a really decadent coffee treat. The white chocolate and Baileys provide enough sweetness that you will not need any sugar! If you like your coffee strong, just add more instant coffee granules.

    I recently started weight watchers and have been searching for flavourful yet healthy meals. This is a really easy side dish or take-to-work lunch. Feel free to use fresh herbs in place of the italian seasoning, but add them toward the end of cooking. This recipe serves 3 as a side dish or 2 as a lunch. The figures may be different between countries, but by British Weight Watchers, this whole recipe is a total of 9 1/2 points.

    This is a fresh, light meal that is great for the warmer times of year. The sauce is not thick or heavy but coats the pasta for an even flavour. The choice of herbs here is merely what I have found to work well but please adjust to your family's tastes! The herbs should be fresh though- dried herbs will not give the same result. The fresh basil really brings out the flavours in this dish. UPDATE: In light of a review, I have tried this dish again and increased the liquid ingredients in the recipe to provide more sauce. It is important in this recipe to include the stock cube as there is something in it that thickens the sauce. If you must leave it out, add an alternative thickening agent.
