A friend brought these to a picnic. After one taste of the warm-from-the-oven cookie, I knew I had to have the recipe. These are now the most requested cookie by my family. The recipe makes a HUGE batch of big cookies, but they do freeze very well. The 5 dozen amount is a guess, I've never counted! We love these and hope you will too!

    Recipe #241166

This recipe comes from Paula Deen. It tastes exactly like the boursin cheese sold at stores, for a fraction of the cost! I like to serve this spread with buttery crackers. You could also use it to make sandwiches, etc... The prep time does not include softening of cream cheese, butter or the refrigeration time.

    Recipe #248495

What I love about this recipe, is that it's possible to have lasagna within 30 minutes and only have one pan to wash! It's an easy weeknight recipe to prepare. Comfort food with ease. :) This is an adaption from Cook's Illustrated.

    Recipe #321529

I love this meal for it's ease and down home goodness. You can make this one dish meal in less than 30 minutes. It's pretty too! You could substitute chopped carrots for the red pepper if you'd prefer. It reminds me of chicken pot pie without the 'pie'. Comfort! It makes A LOT so you can serve half of it and freeze the other half for a quick dinner some other night. From Simple & Delicious courtesy of Danette Forbes. *NOTE: this recipe does not include many spices, etc.. It is meant to be a comfort food type of recipe. If you enjoy spice, go ahead and throw some in!! This recipe is also versatile in terms of what veggies you like. Have fun with it. :)

    Recipe #248350

If you want an impressive dinner with a short ingredient list and easy preparation, consider this recipe. Such an easy dinner to prepare and you can feel comfortable enough to serve this to guests. *Prep time does not include refrigeration*

    Recipe #281771

I originally saw this recipe in a magazine and tweaked it so it would be a bit healthier. We think it even tastes better this way. My kids request this recipe A LOT because it reminds them of bbq ribs. The recipe couldn't be easier. Enjoy!

    Recipe #268774

This is a simple and versatile recipe. It lends well to any type of white fish, such as: perch, tilapia, whitefish, halibut, etc. It might even work well with salmon, but I haven't tried that yet. I love the crusty, delicious almond coating. If you can't find Panko breadcrumbs, you could try regular bread crumbs. I like to serve this alongside wild rice and a nice salad for a simple and pretty healthy meal.

    Recipe #321734

This is a fantastic recipe that you can prep ahead! I've served these taquitos, sliced in half, as appetizers. The chorizo gives them a nice zing. You may serve these with sour cream and/or guacamole on the side. This is a Sandra Lee recipe. Delish!

    Recipe #247150

This tastes just like the store-bought version. I make it every year, before Christmas, to give as gifts (and of course to keep some for ourselves!). It ends up being less expensive than buying from the store AND you get to say that you made it yourself! :)

    Recipe #337038

These mashed potatoes are creamy, fluffy and slightly tangy thanks to the creme fraiche. A ricer is used on the potatoes to make them really smooth, but you could always mash by hand. Simple goodness! From Food & Wine. *Note: the mashed potatoes can be made ahead of time and kept at room temperature for up to 3 hours. Reheat before serving. (You may need to add a bit more milk.)*

    Recipe #373346

This is a recipe I have been making for years and it is always a hit. It's perfect for outdoor entertaining because you can prep the kabobs and keep them in your refrigerator until you're ready to grill. It's actually best to let it marinate overnight. The flavor from the marinade is awesome!! I like to serve this over rice - with a nice salad and bakery bread...simple and yummy. I hope you enjoy!

    Recipe #241030

This is a Paula Deen recipe which has become a favorite in our house. It is a hearty, comfort-food type of meal. The white sauce and potatoes are absolutely delicious. It takes a bit of time to prepare but the results are well worth it! I also like to serve this with a steamed vegetable and/or salad. Enjoy!

    Recipe #247113

We love this variation of pork tenderloin. It's excellent served over rice. Delicious! The prep time does not include marinating, which is 2 hours. Enjoy!

    Recipe #281775

This comes from a Pam Anderson recipe. I love creamy pastas like alfredos, etc... but don't like all the fat. This recipe is a great solution. By using 2 percent evaporated milk, instead of heavy cream, the fat content is cut considerably. The flavor and consistency is still wonderful, in my opinion. I love this recipe because: it's lower in fat; you can use left-over chicken (or cooked rotisserie chicken); cooking the broccoli in the same pot as the pasta saves an extra pot to wash, it's an easy one-dish meal! There are many variations you could try with this recipe, too. Notes: 1.this recipe calls for diced tomatoes - if you'd prefer a more traditional alfredo-type sauce, I think you could probably omit the tomatoes and it would be just fine. 2. Also, if you like your pasta spicier you could add more red pepper flakes than the amount called for. 3. I find it very helpful to have all my ingredients prepped/chopped and ready before I start cooking - especially for this recipe. 4. Make sure you reserve about a cup of the pasta cooking water - it helps to thin out the finished product, if necessary. Have fun and enjoy!

    Recipe #321548

My sister gave this recipe to me many years ago. It's become a family favorite. My kids request it often. I am not a big fan of Velveeta cheese, but it sure does work in this recipe! The soup is creamy and highly satisfying. Enjoy :-)

    Recipe #281445

This is a recipe I devised when I had a craving for an antipasto salad, but wanted a different spin on the dressing. Oh man, did I love the result. I served it during an outdoor bbq and it went over big! It's a simple salad with a big flavor. I hope you enjoy.

    Recipe #241077

This is a traditional and spicy side dish. The "peas" in Jamaica refer to beans, kidney beans in this recipe. Scotch bonnet is one of the hottest peppers. If you don't want this to be quite as spicy, you could use habanero or jalapeno peppers. From Food & Wine. Enjoy!

    Recipe #373354

This is a fantastic little recipe for sour cream and chicken enchiladas. I've seen some similar recipes posted at 'Zaar but not this exact one. This turns out perfect every single time. It's also easy to double the recipe so you can serve a larger group. I'm always asked for this recipe and it's so easy! It's very mild. If you like spicy/hot you could add some chopped jalapenos (see directions). Can make ahead and freeze - just take it out the night before to thaw in your refrigerator, then follow cooking instructions. *Prep and cooking times do not include cooking the chicken breasts.*

    Recipe #241042

This recipe comes from The Black Dog Summer on the Vineyard Cookbook. Just buy the cod and parsley; and you probably have everything else at home. Such a simple fish recipe and it packs a lot of flavor. This is for garlic lovers! Note: if the breadcrumb coating doesn't immediately adhere to the fish, just pat it on. It works great.

    Recipe #369973

This is a restaurant recipe that I modified slightly. The bourbon sauce is wonderful, either pooled beneath the chicken and/or drizzled over the top. This recipe makes a lot of sauce. You can save some of the extra sauce for use later or drizzle the sauce over your veggies! Great pecan taste and crunch. Make sure you adjust your heat, while cooking the chicken, so the pecan coating does not burn. Don't skip the green onion to sprinkle over the finished product, it is part of the whole taste sensation! This recipe works for a weekly night dinner or even for company. Enjoy!
