This is from Food to Live By. Everyone loves this side dish. I noticed there is one other recipe posted on recipezaar that is very similar to this one. There are a slight change of ingredients and the preparation is a bit different.
This is from Bon Appétit's October 2007 issue. I made this for a tea party, everyone loved it. Don't let the long list fool you, it's really not that complicated to make and it turns out beautiful--it will really impress your friends. Hint: you will need to let the dough rise, plan to make this a day ahead, or plan other activities to do in the house while it rises.
Ok, earlier today I posted a recipe (Recipe #273118) from another website. Well, I made it with a few minor adjustments, and it came out wonderful. This is the recipe with the adjustments. These are vegan (as is the other recipe)
I found this on Veg Cooking Blog. I think it's from a girl named Danielle Vance. I was looking for vegan Orange Cranberry Scones and I finally found them! Hope they're good...(I guessed on the cooking times)
Ok, I don't think this has been posted yet, so I'm going to try. This is a great and easy way to prepare chicken. This is my husband's favorite chicken dish, and I used to enjoy it myself until I recently stopped eating meat. The recipe is from Emeril.
A trail mix of my own creation that my family absolutely loves. I love the smell the caramelized maple syrup makes in my house when I make this. The measurements are an approximation (as well as the servings!), use your good judgment and own taste when making. Enjoy!
There used to be a restaurant here in PR that had the BEST mango cheesecake but the rest. closed down. A friend got me the recipe, so I actually modified it quite a bit and came out with something even better than the original! So, here is a little taste of Puerto Rico, enjoy!
This recipe is from King Arthur Flour. This makes a great bread! This is the recipe from their website, I actually did not have the bread improver it calls for, but if you add a 1/4 vital wheat gluten I think it does the same thing, because it came out great when I made it (if you add the wheat gluten, then subtract 1/4 cup whole wheat flour) I also used their grain mix instead of the sunflower seeds and walnuts, but I'm sure whatever you like will taste great. Enjoy!
This is my own concotion based on a dessert I had at a restaurant in Vieques. Super easy to make, these are awesome with the sauce. I recommend using organic bananas, as they taste much better than conventional. If you can't find any small ones, use a large banana, but cut it in half. Measurements are aproximate....
I've been looking for a good tofu ricotta recipe, I have used the one from Vegan with a Vengence and Veganomicon (which is actually the same recipe) But, after I had the tofu ricotta at Siggy's Good Food in Brooklyn, New York, I have been unsatisfied until I find one similar to theirs. This recipe is from www.vegparadise.com, I don't know if it's good, but I thought I'd store it here and try it later... (I might add a little lemon to this recipe)
This looks sooo good, I have not made it yet, but I plan on it. Lamb is the only type of meat I will occasionaly eat (besides fish) I find that it is easier on the digestive system (never gives me problems like other meats). This recipe is from the January 2008 issue of bon appétit. (hint: make the tomato and garlic crust one day ahead)
