I got this from my TOH Simple and Delicious. It was submitted by Renee Zimmer. These are so easy and I almost always have the ingredients on hand. I have used the light version of the vanilla yogurt and 1% milk with good results.
Despite the name, this is probably more similar to chili than soup. It's one of my husband's all-time favorites. This can also be simmered in the crock pot after browning the ground beef. I usually serve over tortilla chips with sour cream and shredded cheese.
This is the best homemade salsa ever! I originally found this on allrecipes.com. Everyone always requests it for potlucks and parties. This can be watery so I usually chop the tomatoes first and put them in a strainer basket while I do the rest. I have a small food chopper which really cuts down the prep time on this.
I have been making this for several years now. I keep it handy for when I need a quick, easy dessert for potlucks, etc. I believe that the recipe originally came from kraft.com, but I'm not quite sure anymore. I like to serve with canned cherry pie filling on top. Chill time not included.
