I was searching the internet 2 valentines days ago for a romantic, not too foo-fooey recipe and found this (don't remember what site). This is now my BH's version of comfort food, whenever he feels down he asks me to make "that fancy chicken". I like to serve it with garlic mashed potatoes.

    Recipe #37037

You HAVE to try this!! What a great combination-how can you go wrong with peanut butter, chocolate, and bananas?? This recipe is from the Better Homes and Gardens Annual Recipes cook book (1998).

    Recipe #35348

This recipe was in the 'food' section of our local paper a couple of weeks ago. We made it while on a camping trip, a very refreshing and different salad! It has a definite Greek taste and is very low-cal! Time does not include marinating (if you chose to do so).

    Recipe #35233

Yummy, creamy, fast, and easy! This could easily be doubled or made diet friendly by using low-fat cream cheese and light tortillas. The idea for this came from the back of the green enchilada sauce can, but it had twice as much chicken and enchilada sauce, but the same amount of cream cheese and chilies, also no spices were listed--and was for actual enchiladas--I'm way to lazy to roll up enchiladas 8)

    Recipe #51384

From an old issue of Taste of Home. A definite kid-pleaser (or picky husband-pleaser!)

    Recipe #41498

    From Taste of Home magazine

    Recipe #41507

Once a month, our mortgage company sends out a postcard with a recipe on it (weird, I know). This recipe was in our mailbox yesterday. Sounds perfect for a wintery day!

    Recipe #110258

Yummy!! I got this recipe when I hosted a "Cooking the American Way" party. Could be used for a dessert or for breakfast. I am totally guessing on the serving size!

    Recipe #41491

My kind of comfort food!!! Very tasty and easy! This recipe originally came from www.3fatchicks.com but I believe I tweaked it enough to call it my own!! The original recipe cut out the spices, milk and butter and used low-fat soup; if you are watching your weight-go for it! You do not neccessarily have to cook the chicken in the crock pot, you could just cook it in a skillet. The crock pot was just another 'tweak' so that the chicken would be ready for me to shred when I got home from work.

    Recipe #51378

Another recipe from an old issue of Taste of Home. I always make these during the holidays!

    Recipe #41504

My co-worker, Amy, gave me this recipe today. She swears it is the "best hashbrown casserole in the world".

    Recipe #41677

This was the "Recipe of the Day" on my Yahoo this morning. It is from www.epicurious.com and sounds FABULOUS!!!

    Recipe #129051

The perfect lunch!! The original recipe said this was for 4 servings, but they are tiny and we are big eaters!! Eliminate the croutons and you have an extremely low-carb meal!

    Recipe #43953

I found this on a recipe card from "KC Masterpiece" BBQ sauce. Could very easily be made in a crockpot! Cook/prep time does not include time for marinating.

    Recipe #41510

Mom and I attended one of Taste of Home's cooking schools. This is one of many great recipes that are in the little cookbook they handed out!! I made this pie several times last holiday season.Every time I would make it, someone new would try it and beg me to make it for them!!

    Recipe #43606

My family made me a 'family recipe book' as a wedding present. This recipe is from long time family friends; Peggy and Christy. I'm not sure on the serving size or prep time since I haven't made it yet!

    Recipe #41493

Thick, smooth, and creamy! Great with breakfast or as a snack! From an old Taste of Home issue.

    Recipe #41496

This was today's 'Healthy recipe of the day' on "My Yahoo". Sounds simple, healthy, quick, and delicious...my favorite combo!!

    Recipe #46271

This was the healthy recipe of the day on my "MyYahoo" page. Sounds tasty! ..."Hearty enough to serve as a main course or a substantial side dish."

    Recipe #41571

Sounds so good! From Taste of Home cooking school recipe collection. Somebody make this so that I can live vicariously through you, since spinach is not allowed to enter my home!!
