This is a recipe from the wall of our old home. Which means, I have no idea where it came from after 7 years. I'm posting these because they are my favorites if they made it to the wall.

    Recipe #223396

This recipe started from a card from a grocery store, then turned into something indulgent. You can change the cheeses to whatever you want, but after many trials, these cheeses work the best. You can beef up this mac and cheese by adding extra ingredients before baking: -- Add in two cups cooked broccoli cuts and 2 cups cooked diced chicken breast. -- Add in 2 cups cooked crumbled bacon and 1 cup chopped scallions. -- Add in 2 cups diced cooked ham. -- Add 2 cups chopped tomatoes and 1 cup chopped fresh basil.

What a great fall soup! I'm not a fan of squash, but something about it being in soup makes it less "icky". This is super easy soup! Try adding a little nutmeg before simmering to enhance flavors.

    Recipe #329282

Very simple side dish with very simple ingredients. The color is great and the taste is even better. It's a great comfy fall dish.

    Recipe #358382

Adobo Beef Tacos with Pickled Red Onions recipe from The Wisconsin Beef Council. This was featured on the morning news cooking segment. I was surprised by how easy it was to find all the ingredients at the regular grocery store. I just checked the international foods aisle for them.

    Recipe #329289

Another melon cooler drink. I use my LaLane juicer to make it easier.

    Recipe #326466

Very refreshing drink, very easy to make. It works just as well with Cantaloupe or Honey Dew melons. I've made this recipe with many different types of melon with great results. The grocery store I use has a yearly melon sale in the summer. You can try and buy several types of melons that you normally couldn't get in this area of Wisconsin. The Santa Claus melon has a very mild flavor and light color. I like to use my LaLane juicer.

    Recipe #326643

ABC Pizza. Creamy and gooey pizza. Out of the ordinary pizza. This is total comfort food. It comes together quickly with the use of premade alfredo sauce and pizza crust.

    Recipe #335545

A rich almond delight, sure to please. I used this Recipe #295198

    Recipe #329187

This is a wonderful warm soup to warm the heart in these last cold days of winter. Being in Wisconsin, warm soup is always a welcome thing. This is a very simple amish soup, so it has very simple ingredients. It's perfect for a beginner cook or someone like me who just wants something easy.

    Recipe #358385

This is the most delicious salad I've had in a long time. The dressing is just fabulous and is included with the recipe. The taste is very fresh. This is perfect for lunch, or a potluck.

    Recipe #358387

This is a delicious salad that is simple and elegant. It is different from the others I've seen as it has a lower sugar content, so it doesn't take away from the goodness of the salad itself.

    Recipe #329285

I love tea. I love apples. This only makes sense for them to come together in this great tea. This makes enough to serve to others, but I usually end up saving it all for myself. You can drink it hot, just skip the step about the ice. I prefer this particular tea over ice though. I sometimes add a bit of honey as well. Note that you need 1/2 cup of mint leaves, plus 4 sprigs of mint for garnish.

    Recipe #344759

Yum. Apples and pork chops. If you don't have the apple brandy, you can substitute with apple juice. This makes a wonderful sauce, and I like to serve it with plain white rice.

    Recipe #326469

For easier chopping, freeze cranberries and chop with food processor fitted with metal blade. Those little suckers like to get away from you. Also, I don't generally like to stuff a bird out of the fear of food poisoning. Other well seasoned chefs know what they're doing though, so I included those instructions too. I like to use Rachel Ray's tip using muffin tins for individual 'Stuffin Muffins'.

    Recipe #258388

Great green good dip. I hate carrots, but they are shredded and add a good bit of vegetables for those picky eaters, even Mom.

    Recipe #258370

Baba Ghanoush is such a good way to get your vegetables in. Plus, it's fun to hear the 4yo trying to say it. I didn't see any other recipes quite like this one.

    Recipe #258269

Super simple and elegant summer salad from St. Brendan's Inn in Wisconsin. This is very refreshing and it looks so good on the plate. There is so much flavor in each bite.

    Recipe #326491

Baby Bib Appetizer Recipe from Happy Cookies. This was on the local morning news. It was too cute. Perfect for that baby shower you're about to go to. A little cucumber would be a good addition too.

    Recipe #305304

Baby Face, You've got the cutest little baby face.... What a cute idea for a baby shower or similar idea. Little cupcake with baby faces. I use pink, yellow, and blue paper liners. In addition to the ingredients listed below, you will also need cheap plastic baby pacifiers for decoration. I suggest checking the dollar store or party supply store.
