Adapted this from another banana bread recipe I found here (#1387). Added a lot of the spices from my pumpkin pie that I like and added chocolate chips for the kids.

    Recipe #398576

I made this from modifying a few other tapenade recipes. I sprayed the baguette slices with olive oil and toasted with the oven broiler (keep an eye on them!). You don't need to be too precise on these measurements.

    Recipe #303209

I've never been a big split pea soup fan but felt it was something I should eat. So, in the interest of fixing healthy soups for my family and clearing out the pantry while I was at it - I put together this crock pot friendly soup that is mostly split pea.

    Recipe #272009

This is a nice basic soup that is great as main course or a side. I also like to serve as part of Thanksgiving dinner if I'm hosting a large crowd.

    Recipe #256572

This recipe was given to me by my cousin as part of a bridal shower gift. You can easily choose to make this vegetarian or vegan by your choice of stock, using a butter substitute, and not adding the cheese at serving time.

    Recipe #233369

We talked a bartender at the New Orleans Cafe in Seattle into giving us this recipe. Since we usually make it for parties (rather than just individual cocktails), I worked on it until I came up with the same taste in a large batch.

    Recipe #232936

I originally found this recipe in Bon Appetit several years ago. I've changed things up a little. It's a great pie. Even folks who don't really like pumpkin pie (like me) enjoy it. Makes enough for a 10-inch pie. Time doesn't include making a pie crust.
