    I found this recipe recently at Taste of Home. I had a few changes that accommodate what I had in my refrigerator and pantry. I made the recipe as written but added some fresh steamed broccoli, half of a red bell pepper and a Hungarian hot pepper. I also used thick spaghetti as that is what I had on hand. If you don't want to use wine, use all chicken broth.

    This is a recipe from the Food 911 show that Tyler Florence hosted on Food Network. This is a wonderful dish that makes a lot of sauce. I also prefer my food a bit spicier so I add hot curry powder rather than the regular curry and also extra red pepper flakes. This is great served over noodles, rice or just out of the bowl as a soup.

    I found this recipe on Facebook recently and had to try it. I believe the original recipe called for ground chicken but was adapted to use ground beef. This recipe is great served with a side salad. I did not miss the tomato pasta sauce that meatballs are generally in. Be sure to spray your foil well because the cheese and meatballs will stick. The recipe also calls for broiling the meatballs to crisp and brown the cheese but I didn't have to do that as it happened while baking.

    This is a recipe from the Kikkoman's Kitchen that I have been wanting to try for awhile. I didn't have the Ponzu Lime Sauce for the remoulade so I improvised and made my own with soy sauce, rice vinegar, water, sugar, and True Lime (dried lime crystals). We added sliced tomatoes and passed the bottle of tabasco around the table. These spicy and crunchy shrimp sandwiches were a huge hit.

    A friend posted this recipe on Pinterest and being both a kielbasa and pierogies lover, I just had to try it. I find the mustard and vinegar sauce really makes this dish stand out from all the other similar ones I have tried. I also added a small head of raw broccoli, cut into small pieces.     This is an adapted recipe from the March/April Eating Well Magazine. I added a pound of spicy Italian sausage and replaced the water with chicken broth for added richness. Quote from Eating Well: "Ribollita, a traditional hearty Tuscan soup, typically uses day-old bread to add body and thicken the broth. This ribollita recipe uses a bean mash, which keeps the soup gluten-free and adds fiber. Garnish with extra-virgin olive oil or pepper and grated Parmesan." This is a beautiful, healthy and fulfilling soup.

    Being a big fan of Bananas Foster, when I stumbled across this recipe in an older issue of the Cappers-Grit Magazine I was anxious to try them. I think the next time I make them, I will use Rum Flavored Extract in place of the vanilla to give them a more authentic taste. These were a huge hit with everyone of all ages. The recipe said you will get 2 large or 4 small waffles but with my waffle iron, I actually got 7 small. I think this will vary with different brands and sizes of appliances. Cooking time is based on my brand of waffle iron. Other irons cooking time may vary. These may also be served as a dessert with a dollop of vanilla ice cream on top of the waffles.

    This is a Pinterest recipe that I adapted to my tastes that is so simple but extremely delicious. We served ours over linguine that was drizzled with a little EVOO. This dish makes a lot of liquid even though I removed seeds from tomatoes and squeezed the artichokes. It never really thickened for me but I think that is what made the chicken so tender.

    Adapted from a recipe I found online at A Farmgirl's Dabbles Blog site. Her recipe called for turkey pepperoni because she felt regular pepperoni was too greasy but I used a really good quality dry pepperoni with excellent results. It is not recommend using low fat or fat free mayo for this recipe. This dip is always the first to go at parties and potlucks. If by any chance you have leftovers, try using the filling in quesadillas. Its excellent. Her Note: This recipe is highly versatile, so feel free to mix it up with your favorite pizza ingredients.     This has been an old-time family favorite recipe for many years. I have made these with not only regular rum but coconut flavored rum, bourbon, brandy, amaretto, kahlua...etc. I generally use walnuts but pecans, macadamia or almonds are also good. These are best if they sit a few days in a tightly covered container before eating. They also freeze well. Cooling time is not included in the PREP/COOKING time.
