It seems that watermelon is messy when the juices get outside of your mouth because of the rind. This is how I cut up a watermelon and hope you find it helpful. Steps 1-5 also work great for a whole pineapple. This is also a great base for fruit salad. Simply add some grapes, strawberries, kiwi, etc. Toss and serve at your next outdoor gathering.

Well, JJ's at it again! Seems he hooked up with the McDaniel gang again and they couldn't wait for some of his tasty dishes. One of the McDaniel's had hooked up with a sweet little girl from Mexico named Carlita. Carlita just loved fiesta colors! On her clothing, In her home, and even in her food. Johnny came up with this yummy recipe just for her. Carlita was so happy that she did a Mexican hat dance for him!

These no-bake, three layered snack bars start with a crumb base, followed by a layer of light custard buttercream, then topped with a shimmering layer of chocolate. Nanaimo Bars are one of Canada's favorite confections, named after the beautiful city of Nanaimo, B.C. It all began when Mabel Jenkins, a Nanaimo housewife entered the recipe in a magazine contest back in the 1950's. She won the contest with these tasty treats even made the town famous for them. There are six variations of filling here at the bottom of this recipe. Buddha got this recipe from a co-worker named Kindalee.

Although these are colorful for the yuletide holidays, they are so easy to make, you can have them year round. You can also serve them as 2 individual wraps which are great for lunch on the go, sweet snack (cranberries) included! 1 wrap has about 300 calories. Enjoy.

Got a bushel or two of peaches, apples, berries, etc? OAMC!!! A fresh fruit ready (home)made pie filling that you simply defrost, pour into pie crust and bake for wonderful pies, cobblers, etc. Great for gift giving also. I've done this tequnique for years and it's always been a no fail recipe. This recipe multiplies easily so double, triple, etc. away depending on how much fruit you have to use.

Delicious mini cheesecakes that can be made as an assortment of chocolate, strawberry jam, apricot, peach, pineapple, or any other flavor. Go ahead,.. indulge. Great for controlling the urge to eat a whole cheesecake, and can be wrapped tightly and frozen up to 2 months (thaw in refrigerator). Can also be made into a whole pie if desired.
