This is another recipe from ,"The Saturday Evening Post, Family Cookbook".

    Recipe #288774

This is quick, tasty, and inexpensive! I love these. This recipe came from, "The Saturday Evening Post, Family Cookbook."

    Recipe #288657

This recipe was contributed from a woman in Missouri to The Saturday Evening Post Family Cookbook. She likes to offer it to guests as a substitute for soft drinks and junk food.

    Recipe #288653

We eat salad all the time and I'm always making new dressings. This one is from , "The Saturday Evening Post, Family Cookbook". I even tried it on ruebens and it was great!

    Recipe #288621

I always hated eggs until I was pregnant for the first time. My husband made this for me and I lived off of this for months!! I'm only going to do this for one serving since that is all I ever did.*edited* just to say that I completely agree with the reviewer -Lainie-, that using the lid on the pan vs. melting in the oven DOES work better. Thanks -Lainie-!

    Recipe #285887

This is a recipe inspired by a combination of my favorite spaghetti sauce recipes. It is very rich, but I make myself feel better about it by eating a big bowl of spinach with this.

    Recipe #271734

This is such a nice change in eating catfish. I really loved this one!! (Deck O'Meals)

    Recipe #265756

This is extremely rich, but worth the extra calories! (From "Deck O'Meals" Louisiana Cajun)

    Recipe #265695

This is another "Deck O'Meal" recipe.

    Recipe #265213

    Another "Deck O'Meals" Louisiana Cajun

    Recipe #265161

This is what my husband usually uses for our steaks. I love the smell and the taste.

    Recipe #265078

My husband spent some time in Louisiana and became very fond of the food there. Now, anything Cajun he just devours. I have several recipes from a deck of playing cards called "Deck O'Meals" Louisiana Cajun. Here is one of 52:)

    Recipe #265036

My Grandpa used to make lots of goodies every year around Christmas. His sausage was probably one of my favorites. We would snack on it all day long with crackers and cheeses. Please keep in mind it's written on an old post card and it's not very descriptive, (he passed away in 2000 and I was never able to ask him about his recipes) so I did my best. If you ever try to make this and find a better way, please offer me suggestions. I have not made this yet, almost in fear of it not tasting as good as it did when I was little. I am thinking about making it this Christmas. If I do and I find the need to edit some things I'll do so as soon as possible.

    Recipe #264387

My oldest son and I were shopping for our camping trip, and of course we were getting the fixings for s'mores, when this nice woman suggested we try it with peanut butter cups. We did and it was really tasty!! I am sure everyone know how to make this tasty treat, but I'll include ingredients and instructions for one anyway.

    Recipe #260797

This is a great twist on rueben sandwiches and it's much easier to eat and reheat. I do not remember where I heard about this recipe or the exact measurements I just "eyeball" everything and I thought I'd give everyone a guess at how to start.

    Recipe #237763

You can add or omit indgredients to this sauce to your own taste. I love to make my own dressings and sauces and I think this is a great foundation for a steak sauce.

    Recipe #237762

This is really, really good. It tastes like you've been cooking for hours, but you really have very little work to do.

    Recipe #237031

This is hearty, rich and delicious! I only make it about once a year for obvious reasons:) Even though the recipe calls for 4 bagels- I'm sure it could actually feed 8 people!

    Recipe #237028

My mom made this all the time when I was growing up. It's another comfort food dish--very tasty. You can so easily add other ingredients to taste and the dish is transformed into another lovely creation. My mom made it with the following simple few ingredients. I now make it with garlic, onion and cheese.

    Recipe #237027

A light and refreshing salad for summer.
