This is so simple I feel silly posting it but it tasted so good I wanted to share it with you. Pulled pork sammies are easy just shred the pork & add your favorite BBQ sauce. Remove any fat from the roast. If the fat remains it will cook out and you will have to de-fat the sauce before thickening it. If you like a lighter sauce don't use th corn starch.

I wanted to stuff the squash to add flavor but didn't want anything fatty so I threw this togther and it was, I think, good enough to post. The recipe would not accept "Garlic Plus" spice so it reads 1 tbsp garlic bit it really is "Garlic Plus" a lovely mixed spice is by Club House but in a pinch you may sub 2 garlic cloves chopped . Even with all the spice that is in the recipe it was not "Hot" but do check how spicy your Chipotle sauce is and modify according to your taste buds. You could use this recipe with small 2" Patty pans and just decrease the baking time. If you do not wish to use wine substitute Apple juice

This recipe is easy to make and a little different from your usual lamb recipes. Buy chops that have the filet attached, not shoulder chops. They should be apprx 1" thick. Fry for 4 minutes each side for slightly pink. Longer if you want well done. Make the sauce early in the day (or the day before) and reheat while you are cooking the chops. Dinner will be on the table in a few minutes. The sauce is great over your veggies and new potatoes.

Nearly all the Green tomato recipes are breded & fried in butter or even deep fried. I wanted something lighter so raided the garden and put this together- We enjoyed it so I decided to post it. Use whatever peppers you want in place of the banana pepper. Use your favorite BBQ sauce. Serve as a side dish with eggs or meat of your choice.

Colorful, healthy salad. Have this salad as one to be served along side a green salad and your favorite BBQ. Do not mix your meat and Yogurt dressing with the pasta ingredients until you are at your picnic- it only takes a minute to toss them together. I recommend that you use "HOT" pepperoni sticks not the usual pizza pepperoni. If you don't like too much spice use medium pepperoni but this salad is meant to be spicy or it will be boring. If you do not want to be bothered roasting your garlic just crush it and saute it in a tsp butter for 3 minutes. I say 6 servings this would be as a side salad and depends on the appetites of your group

This is a lovely way to start your dinner party - The salad makes a colorful presentation and has a great combination of flavors. Double the recipe for larger groups. Serve the salad in individual bowls, arranging each ingredient artistically. Get everything ready ahead of time, except the avocado , slip the ingredients into the fridge in separate bowls then assemble just before serving. Use your favorite dressing or offer a choice of dressings to your guests and let them add it at the table. Personally, I like Zesty Italian dressing. Simple Easy and elegant looking salad! Enjoy

I always have some cooked meatballs in my freezer so this is an easy recipe for me to make!. They look quite elegant and could be served to company any time. You will neeed 8 1" pieces of green pepper and 8 1" pieces of red pepper and 8 pieces on onion. I have simple said !/2 pepper and 1 onion to keep the ingredient list simple. If using Bamboo skewers soak for 45 minutes in water to prevent scorching. The cook time is apprx depending on your method of cooking and the size of your meatball. I used a griddler and it took 7 minutes, BBQ perhaps 15 minutes and broiling about 15 minutes 6" from the broiler. The meatballs are already cooked so it is just a matter of heating them through and getting them golden. The peppers will still be crunchy but hot through

These are not my favorite vegetable but when I see them fresh I can't resist buying some. I like garlic with them and added onions. The Pine nuts are optional. You may like to sprinkle on some Parmesan cheese . Clean them well before using in cold water. I like my veggies still crisp so I suggest 5 minutes steaming but if you like your veggies soft the steam for 12 minutes. Fiddleheads are very healthy loaded with Iron.

I threw this together and we really enjoyed it so I thought I would post it. Do not overcook your spinach - just let it wilt and get hot right through. You need a large skillet or wok with a lid. I used low fat dressing. Use any other of your favorite dressings

There are a lot of Hot & Sour soups here on Recipezaar but I couldn't find one quite like this. It is from a Bon Appetit "Tastes of the world" cookbook I will be making it soon and will add to the introduction

    Recipe #362733

I used small Italian frozen meat balls if you use larger meatballs you may want to defrost them first. This is so quick & easy and very tasty - nice served with pasta. My favorite BBQ sauce with thei recipe Is Diane's original

This is an easy recipe, simple to make - wonderful for the family and elegant enough to serve for company. You can prepare it ahead, just wait to sprinkle on the crumbs until just befor popping it in the oven. Panko crumbs are best but you may sub fresh bread crumbs. You may double this recipe. You will not need to double the soy/honey glaze as there will be enough to paint the breasts

This is a lovely crisp finger food served warm to compliment a glass of wine or a cocktail. It is also good served as a snack. They are baked not deep fried! You may make the sauce posted or serve them with a prepared Teriaki sauce or a hot Thai chili sauce. You may double the recipe to make 48 appetizers. Remember to allow time for the Spring roll wrappers to defrost ahead of time- overnight in the fridge is best..

I was just fooling around and came up with this simple recipe - served as an appetizer at midnight New Years Eve, If you have never worked with Rice paper there is a tutorial here on Zaar. Rolls were served with recipe #33113 I used the small rice paper rounds but you can use the larger ones and have these as a side dish.

This recipe came about after reading recipe #215139 by Redsie and then I starting playing! I took out some ingredients and added some others. The end result was a tasty comfort food casserole. This is a very simple recipe that I threw together one night -it was a kind of "clean the fridge" event. Then I made it again a couple of weeks later and decided that I would post the recipe because I don't want to foget what I put in it! I took meatblls right out of the freezer - they are small ones. Use as many or as few as you like - cooking time will depend on the size and if they are fresh or frozen This is a quick & easy recipe Instead of Sambal Olek use your favorite hot sauce

Brunch, Lunch or Dinner this is a satisfying meal served with a salad & perhaps a crusty roll. I have listed several ingredients as optional to keep this recipe as economical as possible. Any quiche is flexible so add or detract at will. You can prepare this ahead of time and just pour the egg mixture over the veggies just before poppin it in the oven. Use whatever peppers are on sale (green are usually the lowest priced). Watch your cooking time as the size of your pan will affect the actual oven time - drizzle the cheese on when the Quiche looks almost done.

This is a little different than any other sweet potato soup already posted on Recipezaar. It is quick & easy to put together and is very flavorful. If you like you may puree the soup after cooking and gradually add 1 1/2 cups of skim milk. I prefer having the texture of the vegetables and no milk. If you like stronger curry flavor add another 1/2 tsp. If you puree the soup & add the milk return it to the stove to heat but do not boil . This recipe modified & changed from a recipe I found on the Internet.
