The traditional mac and cheese, If you add any other cheese's ( Pepper Jack, Munster, Gouda ) it's non traditional but oh so good too. Prep time includes the sauteing times

    Recipe #49428

Great breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack. I foil wrap them and leave them in the fridge for a quick grab ( remove foil or they will steam ) and heat in microwave till warm. Cook time includes scrambling the eggs and grilling the Wiches. Add 10 minutes more to cook time if baking too.

A treat even better the next day. When I use fresh peaches I cut them into quarters, then peel each section, less messy. If you decide to use instant vanilla pudding, use 1 large and 1 small boxes, prepare as directed on box, adding up to 1/4 cup extra of milk. Omitting the cream, sugar, vanilla, salt and all the eggs but keep the cinnamon. Use canned and frozen fruits vs the fresh. Warm the pudding to saturate the croissants. Decrease baking time to 45 minutes or so, checking for doneness.

This makes for a festive presentation but it can be baked in a regular baking dish and sliced from there. It's firm enough to use as appetizers too, that will increase the servings. Prep time doesn't include 4 hours chill time. My son just slices it, heats a corn tortilla and fills it with the chilled mix, eat and run kinda kid.

More cake like than bread, a great, easy recipe. I had " borrowed " the banana chips from my parrot's treat bag and she was having a hissy fit watching me take them. Little did I know that after cooling and wrapping the bread before I left for the day, my son would come home, find it and had eaten the WHOLE top off before devouring almost half of what was left. Do I believe in karma ?,You bet!, I saw it myself..LOL. The bake time may increase depending on your oven temp correctness vs mine.

This dish is constantly changeable and makes a light dinner, It's put together with whatever you have on hand and want to use up. Keep in mind the salt content when combining any of your substitutes. Servings depend on whether a main or side dish.

On those nights I'm too tired to cook I make these to snack on. Depending on the combination of seasonings, I either dip these in a sweet and sour sauce or sour cream laced with either creamy horseradish or salsa.

Depends on what I have on hand for the extract, nut and jam combinations (I use Knott's Berry Farms Jams) ie: strawberry jam with walnut lemon crust. Your choice of any combination. I also use two different jams to make it particularly festive with lightly toasted tinted coconut. Play with your favourites and enjoy. Prep time includes toasting the nuts and coconut.
