    While looking for something entirely different, I found this recipe, entitled "5 Minutes/3 Bananas/1 Loaf of Goodness" Banana Bread. As I'd been looking for a good, simple banana bread recipe for some time, I decided to add this one to my recipes here, because it definately fits the bill. Personally, I add nuts, as they're a must in banana bread in this house, but add whatever you like best in yours.

    Delicious cookies with a little bit of everything - crunchy, chewy... yum! I saw other similar recipes in the database, but none exactly like this. From Canadian Living. I like to add nuts to mine as well, for a cookie packed with stuff!!! If you're not a raisin fan, use dried cranberries, or more nuts and chocolate chips.

    Fresh strawberries and basil turn the drink kids love to make and sell into a sophisticated booze-free refreshment. Add plenty of ice or use an ice ring to keep it cold. Bottled lemon juice works fine, but if you can find fresh squeezed, or have the gumption to squeeze it yourself, it'll be that much tastier; you'll need about 10-20 lemons, depending on how juicy they are.     My sister Chris made me this stir fry for me first around 17 years ago when I visited her and her now husband in their first apartment. I don't think I'd had tofu yet, although I'd been vegetarian for a few years at that point. I still love it and make it regularly. I often add some stirfry sauce to it these days, so that's your option. Serve with rice or noodes, or your favourite grain.

    Yum. Made this recipe up this morning, based on my usual scone recipe, but I goofed with the amount of oats and it was a happy mistake! I hope you like them! I should note that this is a more healthy, grainy, scone, not a buttery & flaky one - DH & I have really come to enjoy this for a more stick-to-your-ribs scone. Edited Nov '10 to only fresh or frozen cranberries, as the moisture is essential to the scone's texture.

    Mom's well known for her cherry pie. Years ago, she told me not to tell the secret... but I know the secret's out, so here it is! The beautiful thing is that it has only four ingredients - plus the pastry, of course. Mom's cherry pie puts any boughten cherry pie to shame - you won't be able to even look at one again! For a vegan version, use soy or almond milk to brush pie. Oh, and the secret? Almond extract!

    In place of peaches, use any of your favourite fruits for this quick and easy morning blast of nutrition. Add just enough honey or maple syrup for your preferred sweetness.     I made and *LOVED* recipe #381617 - absolutely loved it! So, I wanted to combine my favourite other bread, multi-grain, with this recipe, as well as tweak it a bit, because I and several reviewers found it not quite hot enough - almost as if the finely chopped jalapenos were lost in the loaf!     Found on Homemakers, this is an easy, and smaller portioned vegetarian quinoa chili. Qunioa has more protein than any other grain, as well as more nutrients! Make sure to rinse your quinoa well, as this will remove any residual bitter-tasting natural saponins coating.
