These yummy cookies are so cute and very delicate. My family has always made these cookies at Christmas time, and made a red and green filling. But I found that making them once a year wasn't enough, so I've been known to make them once a month! You'll love them!
Unlike most other crisps, this recipe does not add any additional sugar to the fruit, which can often make the crisp too sweet. I find that the natural sugars add enough sweetness to this absolutly delicious recipe.
This is a WONDERFUL recipe. I first served it at a brunch I held a few years ago. The recipe went over very well, and I received many compliments. This is also a great afternoon snack when you are craving something moist and sweet. Enjoy!
