My friend was having horrible morning sickness and the commercial suckers are awfully expensive, so I came up with this. Head on over to Hobby Lobby and buy a candy thermometer, a sucker mold and some sucker sticks.
This salad was definitely love at first bite. So colorful, too. What a pretty presentation!
Tip: If you know you're going to be making this, pop all the cans in the fridge the day or even week before, then you can just put all the ingredients in a bowl and go. 5 minutes!
Another Tip: Try apple pie filling for a nice twist.
I made up this recipe myself, so hopefully it isn't a repeat. My husband loves this recipe, so I hope you do too! I can do it in under 15 minutes now which is great for those "I don't want to cook" nights. Try with my Northern cornbread!http://www.recipezaar.com/260739
This recipe gets rave reviews everywhere I take it. I made this step-by-step for beginners. I taught my friend in one afternoon and now she's hooked!
No "heat" to this jelly, just a beautiful presentation that's soo easy to prepare. Put in pretty jelly jars for a great hand-made gift! Pour a jar over a block of cream cheese and serve with crackers for a quick appetizer that's sure to be a hit!
This is one of my all-time favorite recipes from Pampered Chef. They're quick, easy and can be made in bulk and frozen for later. Such an attractive appetizer, too! From a pampered chef invitation I received from a friend.
A fast and delicious soup with the added touch of homemade egg noodles. Check out my other recipes for whole-wheat noodles, if you'd rather. Really good way to use up chicken left over from Sunday night dinner.
I wanted to make whole wheat egg noodles that still tasted good, so I played around with ingredients this is what I came up with. You can add more whole wheat flour if you desire, just cut back on the all-purpose flour (the consistency will get more tough). I'll post my recipe for chicken noodle soup, too.
I wanted a moist, tender recipe and this one fits the bill. My own twist on a classic recipe. It's even great the next day! You can find the powdered buttermilk in the baking isle at Wal-Mart or your favorite grocery store. It keeps a long time and is a great kitchen essential.
TIP: Spray cast iron pan with non-stick spray and place in the oven for 5-10 minutes. Pour in cornbread until cups are 2/3 full. Cooks in half the time and tastes even better!
Wondering what to do with that bountiful fall apple harvest? Here's an easy, safe way to can the apple sauce and enjoy your harvest all year Includes step-by-step directions for canning and apple leather.
Secret recipe from the bakery! A yummy frosting that sets up into a hardened glaze on top of the cookie, but remains tender to eat. Great for taking cookies 'on the road' because they won't stick together.
Nice, chewy brownies. Great hot out of the oven or cooled! Double for 9x13 pan.
Substitute 1/2 c. choc. chips, m&m's, reeses, etc. for nuts! See Chewy Brownie Mix to save you time. This is a adaption of the brownie mix recipe (turned into a single batch).
