    I used to make this for a local restaurant...had to stop because the demand had grown to a point I couldn't meet requests! Now, these are given as gifts (with the recipe) to close friends. Feel free to add additional goodies to the pie - I add nuts, flavored chocolate morsels (raspberry a fav!), even white chocolate and/or peanut butter flavored morsels.

    This is more of a tip than a recipe....I love to grill on cedar planks, but hate to take the time to soak the planks - this makes the delicious art of grilling on a plank available in an instant! Just remember to leave plank on grill for 3 mins and flip before placing food on it!

    Recipe from package of pork chops.Prep time does not include marinating time. You can alternately use dried chipotle, just rehydrate in hot water for about 15 mins and then chop. I actually like this better as a marinade for pork tenderloin.

    I hate cauliflower. My cousin had this for dinner one eve, didn't tell me what it was. Now it is a fav! I've forgotten the exact recipe, adjust as needed to your taste. Recipe is quite forgiving. Freezes well!

    If you are looking for the "creamiest" creamed soup, don't go here...If you're looking for a satisfying "cream-style" soup that fits the Weight Watcher's plan, this works! I developed this when i couldn't find a soup that satisfied my desire for creaminess and was within my limited WW points. Hope you enjoy. **Note: I "estimate" amounts of all vegetables, based on what I have on hand. More or less of anything won't hurt, but don't skimp on potatoes, they play a major role in the body of the soup. Points noted allows for 1 1/2 large baking potato. I've also estimated timing, as I typically get the soup "done" and then let it simmer on WARM for a while to allow the flavors to develop. Hope you enjoy!

    This is a recipe I came up with the other evening to satisfy my craving for comfort food. I needed a one-dish meal, as my crock-pot is the only cooking apparatus I have left after kitchen fire. Great for getting your veggies without extra work or dishes (I love to use spinach and mushrooms whenever I can!). Makes fantastic sandwiches next day (also makes yummy meatballs!)

    This is recipe I pried out of chef at a favorite restaurant when he took this off the menu. Now I don't have to specially request! : ) Please note that amounts are approximate as are types of seafood; change to your liking. Don't forget to make garlic bread to sop up the juices! **Sometimes I also like to sub tarragon for basil, but be sure you like the flavor of tarragon before you do this!

    My recent kitchen fire has caused me to become much more creative with my cooking. After a few weeks of grill and crock-pot recipes, I discovered I had a fondue pot! I also discovered that fondue cooking is an art, an adventure. Following is my attempt to recreate what I consider to be one of my fav's that will be made again and again! I've also found that this gets better with age. Freeze leftover broth, your next batch will be even more flavorful! Hope you enjoy as much as I did!
