Courtesy of KCStar (my local newspaper). I love Caprese salad....specially the one at Macaroni Grill. I will be making this soon!!! The only thing I would add is balsamic vinegar...but that is because I LOVE IT. It's optional!!!
These are also from a magazine of Mexican food I bought in Mexico ("Cocina Especial: Cocinando Comida Tipica Mexicana"). I love shrimp and although I haven't had the chance to make these yet...they look DELICIOUS! I loooove shrimp and Mexican-style...even better!
I was thinking about what to cook for tomorrow and I remembered a balsamic-glazed chicken I had in 2 different Italian restaurants. I decided to look for a "similar" recipe and found this one by Giada De Laurentiis.
I have not tried it...but will soon! I'll let you know!

Yup...another recipe from an old issue of "Vanidades"...lol! Old mags can be soo helpful sometimes! ;)
The good thing about quesadillas is that they are soooooo versatile and flexible for cooking! They are sooo NOT time consuming and great when making breakfast for hungry ppl or short on time!!!
I saw this in my local newspaper and I was drawn to it! It caught my attention...it sounds pretty good! Let me know how it goes...
I doubt my mom will ever allow me to make this because she makes the authentic Paella Valenciana (since my family on my mother's side is all Spaniard)....but when I live by myself...I will! P
When I was in my "chef" classes...I learned to make these but the sweet kind. I was lucky enough to find a recipe of these "roof tiles" (because of their shape) but salty. They are soo good and look great for giving a special touch to your plates! Although I haven't made these yet...they are fairly easy to make and will probably taste DELISH!
This recipe (yeah from an old mag :P) is truly popular in Andalucia and also in Latin America. My mom makes one very similar to this one. It's really good and easy too!
Prep. and Cooking times are approximate!
