This is from Janelle Bloom's microwave cookbook. It is easy to make and so delicious. She says she got the recipe from friends who own a cafe in Hornsby. She also warns not to overcook it. This is the dessert I am always asked to make.
This is a great tartar sauce to go with fish, seafood, sandwiches or even on baked potatoes. I got the inspiration for it from "The Essential Seafood Cookbook" by Murdoch Books, but I tweaked it a fair bit too! I prefer to use my Recipe #207860, but most whole egg mayos will do the job. You can vary the amounts depending on taste, but it's very hard to mess it up, even when you forget an ingredient or two, as I often do!
Everyone we know loves this easy-to-make mayonnaise and asks us for the recipe. Now it is here for them. Use the very best eggs you can buy. This is the first recipe I have posted. I hope you like it and use it as much as we do. By the way, the 32 servings are tablespoons.
I wanted to create a one-dish meal. This comes close. There are quite a few ingredients and steps, but it is really easy to make. A sharp knife makes a big difference to the chopping. Ask your butcher to cut up the chicken. Serve over rice and cover all the food groups in a single meal.
