I received the recipe from a friend. It's so easy to make and is so delicious, and no leftovers!

    Recipe #236041

This was my mom's recipe that was made when I was a child in the 1950's. I did update the ingredients somewhat since then.

    Recipe #206234

My children, grand-children and now great-grand children have been eating these cookies eagerly. This recipe has given to me in 1960 by a friend.

    Recipe #411166

I received this recipe from a special friend back in 1968 and have been making them since.

    Recipe #206275

Original recipe came with my mom from Poland in 1912. I only added the allspice and walnuts to the recipe. Recipe won 3 Blue ribbons at the Los Angeles County Fair in 1963-67.

    Recipe #273953

My mom made these for our family in the 1960's and we are all still making them for our families.

    Recipe #206264

I normally used Rotel's tomatoes with green chlies for this recipe, but the store was out of them, so I picked up several cans of Rotel's Chili Fixin's. The recipe came out great and tastes much better. This is best cooked in a crockpot.

    Recipe #295154

A long-time friend gave me this recipe in 1962. The cake is delicious even though it sounds weird. NOTE: Any size pan can be used and baking times as shown on cake mix box. I prefer to use the 13x9x2-inch pan. It can also be made in four mini-loaf pans - baking time would be 25 minutes.
