    Recipe #327979

If you're in a big hurry, here's an easy way to fix chili for 6! If you can't find a can of chili with chicken & beans, use a can of regular chili AND a 12.5-oz can of premium chunk chicken breast [I realize that means the recipe is really 4 Cans and a Box, but hey....!

    Recipe #210455

This gem of a recipe was found in the 2005 cookbook, Raw Food -- Real World. NOTE: For those who might be concerned about whether or not agave nectar is a raw food, here is a quote from the internet = "To make the agave nectar, sap is extracted from the pina, filtered, and heated at a low temperature, which breaks down the carbohydrates into sugars. Lighter and darker varieties of agave nectar are made from the same plants. Because of the low temperatures used in processing many varieties (under 118°F) raw foods enthusiasts generally regard agave nectar as a raw food."

    Recipe #375184

This recipe was found on the internet at recipeisland.com. Preparation time INCLUDES the peeling, slicing & dicing of the fruit, but NOT the hour needed for the fruit to chill. Although this recipe should make 6 servings, it could make much less if someone decides to 'drink' it!

    Recipe #373741

This recipe comes from the 1973 cookbook, Scandinavian Cooking.

    Recipe #373269

This recipe comes from the 1973 cookbook, Scandinavian Cooking.

    Recipe #373290

This popular 'cookie' is a favorite, & that comes from a died-in-the-wool chocoholic! The recipe was found in the June 2006 New Zealand food magazine Taste.

    Recipe #458907

This recipe, with origins in Kenya & other areas of East Africa, was found in the 1997 cookbook, Vegetarian Planet.

    Recipe #375091

Although the original of this recipe is for a flavorful Peruvian chicken dish using the very hot aji pepper, I've toned it down considerably for my own protection by using jalapeno! My apologies to any Peruvians or aji fans who might come across this version, but my insides would never handle that much heat! And, although it is traditionally served over butter-flavored potatoes & slices of hard-cooked eggs, I've chosen to use brown rice.

    Recipe #305896

This recipe comes from the 2008 Taste of Home cookbook, Baking Classics.

    Recipe #423956

This recipe was found in the 2009 cookbook, Taste of Home Best Church Supper Recipes.

    Recipe #415522

This recipe was found in the 2005 cookbook, The Best Recipes in the World. These are great as appetizers or served on a finger food buffet.

    Recipe #376619

Another great-tasting recipe from Touch of Home Best Holiday Recipes, 2008. NOTE: Make sure your candy thermometer is correct by testing it in boiling water -- It should read 212 degrees F. Cooking time is an estimate only.

    Recipe #333740

This recipe was found in the 2010 cookbook, Smoothie Heaven.

    Recipe #423848

This recipe was originally made into a 9" pie, but I sometimes enjoy the simplicity of using it as a pudding! The JUNKET brand Danish Dessert also comes in a raspberry flavor, if you can find it on the grocery shelf! Preparation time does not include time needed to chill.

    Recipe #291555

This is a take-off on the more common apple noodle kugel [OR more specifically on KITTENCAL's Recipe #182117, here on Zaar], & although it doesn't have the cheddar cheese taste of the good ol' apple-pie-and-cheese [from my childhood], it's a pleasant, mild-tasting variation!

    Recipe #226512

This recipe comes from the 2008 cookbook, Fruit!

    Recipe #377518

This mincemeat-like pie was found in Sunset Best Recipes 2010. Preparation time does not include the time needed for the finished pie to cool.

    Recipe #410920

This recipe was found on www.sydneymarkets.com.au & is posted here for the Zaar World Tour 5.

    Recipe #370927

This recipe was found in the 1997 cookbook, Vegetarian Planet. Recommended for quesadillas or burritos.
