This recipe comes from the Joy of Cooking cook book. These meatballs are tasty and a staple in my kitchen. They are perfect for a quick dinner at home or perfect for entertaining.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
I found this recipe in Rachel Ray's magazine, but omitted the jalapeno that the original recipe calls for. You can certainly add 1 medium jalapeno, seeded and finely diced to the knots if you like a little kick! Enjoy!
I am posting this recipe for safekeeping. It comes from the EatBetterAmerica webstie. This looks really good & easy! I can't wait to try it. I know stuffing manicotti can be a pain, so use a disposable gallon sized bag and snip a corner to pipe the filling into the pasta.
I had a couple of avocados to use up and I love bruschetta, so I came up with this unique combination of flavors to serve at a recent dinner party. Prep time includes the 30 minute refrigeration. Enjoy :)
One of my favorite and most comforting things to make is homemade spaghetti sauce. I have been tinkering with my sauce for years now and I think I have perfected it. This sauce is perfect by itself, great with meatballs and delicious over pasta. It can be frozen and defrosted for a quick, weeknight meal. Enjoy!
Yet to try this, but I am dying to! I received some Omaha Steaks for Christmas and am looking for a way to cook the tenderloins in the kitchen and not on the grill (darn winter!) I am posting this for safekeeping, but feel free to try it out. This is from Cooking Light Jan/Feb 2009 edition. Enjoy!
This recipe comes from the Oak Grove Plantation B&B in Cluster Springs, Virginia. It does make thin, crepe like pancakes which are absolutely delicious. But, if you prefer thicker pancakes, I'm sure you can add a bit more flour and maybe a tsp of baking powder to fluff them up. Enjoy!
This is a recipe I invented myself after tweaking a few Italian sausage soup recipes I've tried. This is wonderful on a cold winter night or anytime you want to throw together a quick and tasty dinner served w/ garlic bread and a nice salad.
I found this amazing recipe in Woman's Day magazine. Trust me this recipe is delicious, rich and decadent. It has slightly more of a candy bar texture than brownie. It reminds me of a Take 5 candy bar. I made this for Mother's Day and everyone thinks I'm genius.
Baking time includes refrigeration.
This is the most simple recipe ever, but the results are heavenly..The chicken makes its own juices and the meat is so tender and moist. Don't worry about the 10 cloves of garlic, the garlic carmelizes and turns very sweet. I make this chicken once a week and use the leftovers for chicken salad.
