This is my adaptation of several orzo salad recipes. It's a wonderful summer side dish to accompany grilled foods. I let it chill for only 1 hour but I bet the flavors will meld even better given longer chilling time.
This recipe was given to me by my dear friend. I remember making this with her as a child...we crushed the walnuts in a bag using hammers!!!! Now I use a food processor ;-) Anyhow, she adapted this family recipe to be more flaky and reduced the amount of sugar, which really creates a light and flavorful baclava.
This is one of the best potato salads I've ever had. My friend's mom made this at a party and she went through 2 whole batches!! The recipe comes from The Dinosaur BBQ Restaurant in Rochester, NY.
**Note** The creole recipe in the ingredients section makes 2 1/2 cups, save the balance in a zip top bag in the freezer for future use.
This wonderful recipe produces tender chicken cutlets wrapped with thin slices of Prosciutto di Parma topped with fresh sage leaves in a white wine reduction sauce. It's pretty easy to prepare and produces wonderful results.
This recipe was given to my by my dear friend. She's Turkish and this is her family's recipe. I've made this several times and it always moves like hotcakes!! Everyone always asks me for the recipe so I'm posting it here.
This is one of my favorite comfort food recipes! I found it in Cooking Light Magazine and it's so good...and better for you, but don't tell anyone...they'll never guess! This is wonderful with mashed potatoes and green beans.
This is a wonderful recipe that I found in Cooking Light Magazine. It's easy to prepare, few ingredients and has a beautiful presentation. I've served this with wild rice and steamed green beans with garlic. Enjoy!
