I used to love the butter cookies they sold in my high school cafeteria. I've been looking for the recipe and this comes very close (if my poor old memory serves me right). These might be a little more tender than the CPS butter cookies but they're close enough for me!

    Recipe #193957

This recipe came from a bag of chocolate chips. :)

    Recipe #49542

This is a recipe that came from our church's first cookbook more than 30 years ago. We like to serve it with cooked rice and a vegetable.

    Recipe #43592

This recipe is from the "Japanese Cooking Class Cookbook" by the editors of Consumer Guide.

    Recipe #62089

This recipe was given to me years ago. I like to take it to potluck and parties. It's really simple to make and everyone enjoys it.

    Recipe #48123

I haven't tried this recipe but thought that it looked like a cookie tray candidate.

    Recipe #105821

The combination of apples and cinnamon is one of my favorite flavor combinations. I had this cocktail at a party and when I found out that it was homemade, I had to find the recipe. I couldn't find it here in Recipezaar (!!!), so I turned to the WWW.

    Recipe #235381

I found this on the back of a cake mix box. I liked this recipe because it didn't require a German Chocolate Cake base. It's easy to prepare and seems like you spent a lot more prep time than you actually did. ;)

    Recipe #103292

I like this recipe because it's sooo easy. I make this for parties and it's always finished quickly. The most difficult part of this recipe is opening the jar of salsa! :)

    Recipe #53059

I thought that this was an interesting use of green tomatoes. The cake is rich made as directed, but I think that it could be lightened easily.

    Recipe #250616

This is a quick and easy side dish with a little zip.

    Recipe #58803

I adapted this recipe for my dogs because I wanted something relatively low fat (they have to go to the vet pretty soon and I don't want her to call them Snausages again) that they'd like. I didn't want to use dairy products or garlic because of possible adverse effects on the girls. I've tested these out on the girls and they seem to really like them.

    Recipe #111143

    Recipe #63081

This recipe was in the local paper recently. I love quick breads because they're!

    Recipe #275455

Both (!) of my girls have had to have surgery to remove bladder stones. I asked their vet for a recipe that I can make for them that I could make instead of buying the high priced prescription dog food. This is the recipe she gave me. This recipe is for the daily feed of a 40 pound dog. I wasn't able to add two ingredients to the list so please see the directions! This freezes very well. I make enough for the week, freeze it in microwavable containers defrost/heat as needed. Both of my girls love this I'm so lucky that my (their) vet was able to find this recipe for us!

    Recipe #224426

I usually make this dish for company and it's always well received.

    Recipe #63079

I don't remember where I got this recipe but it's easy to prepare and it's always well received.

    Recipe #63316

This recipe is from the magazine section of the Chicago Tribune. It sounds like a great non-prescription cure to me!

    Recipe #189713

This recipe is from my +20 year old church cookbook. We like to make this for family gatherings. It's a nice little sweet dessert when you only have a little room left in your stomach but still want something sweet to top off the meal. (cooking time = chilling time)

    Recipe #95825

I found this recipe subsitution in a magazine. This is a single-acting (tartrate) powder. I haven't tried this recipe but thought that I'd post it before I lost it. :-)

    Recipe #157623
