    This is my favorite way to prepare chili. I just tossed in what I had on hand and the result is delish! I love to stir in a tsp. of mayo instead of sour cream into my chili...soo yummy. I served this up with cream cheese & cheddar quesadillas.

    If your from Hawaii you know what this is! I remember making this in elementary school. The best and most famous shop located on the island of Maui Tasaka Guri Guri is a must try.     I love this dish! My mother would go to the local farmers market every Saturday to buy the eggplants. She would come home and roast them and serve them with chopped tomatoes. sweet onions and a splash of patis (fish sauce). Cook this mixture down and add some beaten egg for a heartier dish. This is my comfort food the one dish no matter where I am that reminds me of home :)
