When my son lived at home, I always had to make two pots because he and my husband fought over it.
This is a basic at our house, and we have it two or three times a month. I love the french dressing flavor instead of blah macaroni.
I like the beans and macaroni combination.
I created this sauce when I ran out of the bottled teriyaki sauce. It would also be good as a grilling marinade.
from Taste of Home magazine, chef: Ruth Koberna, Brecksville, Ohio, We have this about twice a month. SOOO good. Reheats well the next day.
My mother-in-law Wanda gave me this recipe, and I have made it for 29 years. We reheat half of it the next day, yum.
From Mary Beth Roe of QVC. A change from the old mushroom soup recipe. My husband also likes to stir in chopped celery and more grated cheddar.
I got this online; sorry I don't know the original chef. It's very easy but tastes fancy.
As a newlywed, I cooked some carrots in butter. The groom says "my mom's are better"! Grrr- Well, I got the recipe and they ARE better!!! Try it.
My boyfriend's mom gave me this recipe 30 years ago. He's not in the picture anymore but the recipe still is!
We used to have the canned stuff until I began mixing things together instead. Cries out for frozen fries to go with.
I don't bake, but I can do this! We have it with soup on a cold day. Makes the house smell good.
I made this up because it's just stuff we like. Dip the gravy up with sourdough rolls.
From Betty Copeland at texascook.com There will be a tomato sauce around the meatballs when done, so I serve over additional plain rice.
My daughter described having these at a friend's house, and I created them as best I could. I have also heard of putting hot pepper cheese inside.
This reminds my husband of something he purchases at a booth at food/craft festivals.
My mom served these with fried chicken. So good.
Canned clams gross me out, so I wanted to touch up a can of chowder. This way I don't have to look at the clams, but they do taste good! I serve it with coffee cake.
Friends made these when we visited the Army base at Garmisch, Germany back in 1976. The enchiladas are fun to make because everyone gathers around and adds their own toppings.
A cousin served this with meat loaf. Very simple.
