An aromatic mixture from North Africa, also found in Turkey and Jordan. The recipe is from Jill Norman's "The Complete Book of Spices". It is sprinkled on meatballs or vegetables, and can also be mixed to a paste with olive oil and spread on bread before baking.

    Recipe #35102

I couldn't believe that, of 32,000++ recipes at Recipezaar, no lamb stock recipe existed! So allow me to fill that void. Recipe from Bon Appetit magazine.

    Recipe #34986

It was my neighbour Bonzo's birthday a couple of days ago, and his human sister made this to celebrate the occasion, and she gave me a couple of slices. So I made a deal with Bonzo - I promised him that I would not tie his tail to the fire hydrant if he'd get the recipe for me. It worked.

    Recipe #34826

This is for the benefit of you pooches that rarely, if ever, get to go to McDonald's. This is almost as tasty (and probably a good bit healthier) than the greasy hockey pucks that they sell at the Golden Arches. The sandwiches are best when eaten in the back of a Jeep, with the windows down, at 70 miles per hour. Enjoy! Woof!

    Recipe #28671

We have new neighbours who moved in recently. Their dog is supposedly an English sheepdog - I say "supposedly" because he strikes me as a bit of a wimp and I don't think he could chase a sheep if his life depended on it! In any case, his humans apparently cook this stuff for their "precious" little doggie all the time and, though I say so myself, it's pretty darned good. The number of servings in this recipe may vary in direct proportion to your belly size.

    Recipe #28488

Hello again, 'Zaar doggies - it's me, Fido. Do you remember that I told you how I was using my "Fido's Favourite Food" (recipe ID # 24812) as bait to try and get a date with a cute little poodle that lives down the street? Well, it worked! She (Fifi is her name) is a very good cook herself, as it turns out. The other day she brought me some of these burritos and, let me tell you, they beat the living daylights out of that Kibbles 'n Bits stuff that my humans are forever dumping in my dish. So, of course, I just had to ask her for the recipe. She did make a point of saying that she feels that it's very important to use ingredients (or ingredient combinations) that your humans don't care for - this prevents them from eating YOUR burritos! Prep time includes back yard potty break time.
