We thought this was pretty good - served with baked potatoes and boiled carrots for a comfort meal dinner. adapted from recipe in local newspaper

    Recipe #516385

I combined two weightwatchers recipes to make this salad, using up some ingredients that I needed to use. It worked out very well for us.

We really enjoyed this corn bread with pork stew - think it would be wonderful with chili. It also makes a lot - 2 pans - I froze the second baking dish for a later date. Recipe source: local newspaper

    Recipe #513828

This was really good - 8 points plus/serving for 2 cups of stew

    Recipe #513807

Very low calorie soup that is good. I asked at the store for mung beans and they said bean sprouts were the same thing. I believe this is another version of the WW 0 point soup, using different vegetables. Recipe source: local newspaper

I made these cookies to use up some ingredients - but made modifications. The original recipe called for unsweetened coconut (2 cups) - I had sweetened coconut which I used decreasing the sugar to 3/4 cup (original recipe was 1 cup sugar). Original recipe called for 3T golden syrup -- didn't have any so used 3 T maple syrup. I found the recipe on Facebook but it was submitted by Saveur Magazine. Below is my changed recipe which came out pretty good if you are a coconut fan. Want to try the recipe again as written without my modifications

We really enjoyed this soup with grilled cheese sandwiches -- comfort food. When I made this recipe my cans of ingredients were of different sizes, so I used 4 cups vegetable broth, 28 oz tomatoes, 15 oz tomatoes sauce, a good sprinkle of dried thyme. Also the leftover sauce which I cooked down a bit I heated up for dinner, added a bit of water and had it with pasta. Same recipe - two meals -- worked for me. Recipe source: local newspaper

We loved this. An easy and quick dish especially compared to cooking lasagna in the oven. Original recipe said to remove the casings from the sausage, but we didn't - just cut the sausage into chunks. Recipe source: Redbook

Recipe source: Bon Appetit (September 2009). Prep time does not include chilling chicken overnight. Ras-el-hanout is a Moroccan spice blend which should be used, but the data base does not recognize.
