I found this from Yahoo food, I believe it's a Kraft recipe. I tried this out since my DH loves anything with parmesan. It is so delicious and unbelievably easy. I usually cut the chicken breasts into tenders because I prefer a heavier crispy:chicken ratio. I usually tweak the recipe by adding extra breadcrumbs as well. This is an easy basic format for chicken that we eat almost weekly!
Was looking for some comfort food in one dish that was not the same-ol', same-ol'. Found a recipe and tweaked it a bit. I approximated my measurements, since I just sprinkled/dashed my seasonings on top of my goodies before tossing. Reheated very well for lunch the next few days- had some of my co-workers jealous!
Yummy! Crisp and refreshing. I found this in Real Simple, but I tweaked it a little. I found that after letting it sit awhile, it tasted better- the flavors really blended, AND the celery didn't get soggy! It sounds like it might be bland, but it isn't. Prep time includes preparing the celery, onions, and parsley. It might be nice with some craisins to make it a Christmas colored salad.
Very good cheating recipe! Perfect for busy nights when you're craving some comfort food. It's very similar to a "Peter Palmer Pie" my mom used to make while growing up. I got this out of the October 2007 Real Simple magazine. It was very tasty, but I've tweaked the original recipe. The recipe here shows how I make it at home. Prep. time includes browning the beef, cooking time includes baking in the oven. Tastes good as leftovers, too!
