This is really, REALLY easy to make when you're feeling under the weather and want homemade soup. You can make the broth as strong or weak as you like (sometimes when you're sick you just don't want it too strong) and the greens in it are ridiculously easy because they're from salad mix.

    Recipe #50919

Based on the recipe from the Mezzetta Garlic Stuffed Olive label.

    Recipe #50369

Rice symbolizes prosperity and wealth, so rice balls are good for New Year's and wedding celebrations. I love these tasty little morsels, and they go well with many different kinds of food! I've served them with various meats and seafood, and they're always welcome at my table. :) Prep time includes chilling.

    Recipe #50265

This is a very rich, very tasty lasagna for when you're feeling like indulging. An "oh my goodness" with much rolling of eyes and moaning with pleasure kind of lasagna. :) You might want to serve it in smallish pieces so that people can eat it, love it, and still have room for seconds. I wanted a rich lasagna when I created the recipe, and that's how it came out - I'm very pleased with it!

    Recipe #50213

Most people have heard of "Apple Brown Betty" but this is a version for when you'd like something a bit different and/or you don't have any apples about. From what I understand, a jam version is also as quite traditional as apple, made during lean times. When we've made this we used various kinds of jams or jellies, or sometimes a mixture! It's a good way to use up those almost-empty jars in the fridge to make way for fresh ones. :) You can make this with leftover flavored breads, too, such as zucchini or gingerbread - yum!

Here's a nice change from the regular Chex Mix - you can make it savory or sweet by including the honey or not. :) Enjoy!

    Recipe #49545

My mix is based on a recipe that my childhood best friend's mother, Mrs. Harper, had for Chex Mix. It became an annual ritual for me to call her to ask for the recipe yet again. :) This mix is so very, very yummy and decadent! Good thing I only make it once a year...

    Recipe #49543

Want to add a tasty little kick to your meat or burger? :)

    Recipe #49532

This recipe came from my friend Duncan. He said, "I have a yummy tasty White Chocolate Creme Brulee that is fabulously easy to make. I'm not a big fan of white chocolate and I love this." He got it from the Portobello Yacht Club.

    Recipe #49521

These are a deliciously healthy, filling meal, and good for both everyday eating and when your vegetarian guests come over for dinner! My non-vegetarian husband doesn't even miss the meat when I fix these. This is a *big* batch, so plan on leftovers. :) Good for picnics & potlucks, too... see note below.

    Recipe #49461

A nice, light cocktail - sweet, tangy, and minty!

    Recipe #49310

Love mojitos but don't want the alcohol? Here's the drink for you! :)

    Recipe #49307

This afternoon I was trying to decide what to make for dinner, and suddenly I found myself craving good old porcupine meatballs. But I couldn't make plain meatballs, no sir! Here's the recipe I made up, and it came out wonderfully well. An adult update of one of our childhood favorites. Very tasty!

Cool and creamy chipotle dip... mmm! This is a real hit at parties of all sorts, in all seasons! (You can even use this as a pasta sauce and as a topper for sandwiches and burgers, or stir a little into some chowder.) Prep includes chilling.

One of the things I love about the holidays is mulled wine. :) Here's a nice version featuring roasted oranges, which gives the punch a really nice flavor.
