From "Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People" by Jennifer Cornbleet.

    Recipe #376787

Another recipe from her cooking show. I found it made more dressing than I had salad for and it was a little on the sweet side so next time I'll add more salad ingredients and cut down on the honey, and I suppose you could even reserve the juice from the can of mandarin oranges and use that for the orange juice in the dressing.

    Recipe #213485

This is from Paula Deen's cooking show and I did not see it posted here so I hope it's not a repeat. She was not consistent in telling exactly how much of each ingredient, so some are an estimate, and I've guessed the number of servings. I made it tonight for lunch tomorrow and I really liked it, it has a very mild curry flavor. I subsituted 1/2 the mayonnaise with sour cream and dried cranberries for the grapes.

    Recipe #212741

From "The Hip Chick's Guide to Macrobiotics" by Jessica Porter

    Recipe #342497

From the website: "Sweet and savory, this casserole is perfect for simple entertaining. Roasting the yams brings out their inherent sweetness, while the marinated tempeh imparts a savory note of tamari, mirin, garlic, and onion. Dressed up with a bit of ginger and cinnamon, this dish will be a holiday sensation." I really liked this, I used 3 grain tempeh instead of soy and I used about 4 yams instead of 2 and I baked it for close to an hour.

    Recipe #327233

From "The Hip Chicks Guide to Macrobiotics" by Jessica Porter. I couldn't find brown rice syrup, so I used Organic Blue Agave syrup instead, which is just lovely, like a very light honey. I also used Kashi's 7 Whole Grain Puffs cereal in place of the crispy brown rice cereal because it's what I had.

    Recipe #321192

From "The Hip Chick's Guide To Macrobiotics" by Jessica Porter, Corn Pona Lisa (Black Bean and Corn Bread Casserole)

Recipe #319533 recipe, says "The fall flavor combination of pears and blue cheese brings a seasonal element to an otherwise simple chicken dish. Great for a dinner party!" It may appear like a fussy dish, but it was very easy and simple to prepare. I transferred the chicken breasts to a dish to bake while using the same pan for searing, sauteing the onions and spinach and for warming the pears. I served it with a millet pilaf dish. Next time I will use more red onion.

    Recipe #278618

From Sam Zien's "Just Cook This!" cooking show on Discovery Health. Similar to other warm cabbage salads listed on Recipe Zaar, but a napa cabbage is used. The ready-bacon is fine, but this would probably be better with pre-cooked regular bacon cut into small pieces.

    Recipe #263718

From Paula Deen's "The Lady & Sons Savannah Country Cookbook".

    Recipe #257251

Breaded beef steaks from my 1000 Mexican Recipes cookbook. A favorite of my husband's, better than at our favorite local Mexican restaurant. For condiments sour cream, guacamole, and salsa are always good, and for sides we prefer Spanish rice and black beans.
