    Very easy and quick drink to mix up. Also very tasty. It can be a fooler and before you know it, you've had too many. 7-Up works just as well as Sprite and I've also used Ginger Ale with good success.

    I don't care for the chunky salsa so even before I started making my own, I would always run a jar of bottled salsa through the food processor or blender to break it down. I started experimenting earlier this year and have finally found a recipe that we all like and that I can consistently repeat. If you prefer a chunky salsa, I would suggest doing a rough chop on the onion, pepper and cilantro, then add the tomatoes and blend to the consistency you prefer. Cooking time is time in refrigerator for blending of flavors.

I don't see another recipe like this. While it doesn't say specifically, I would guess this should be served over rice or pasta.

    This is an appetizer that my daughter came up with. The name comes from the piTA bread and the feTA cheese ... TA's, It is so simple to make, yet very tasty. I have yet to serve it and not get rave reviews on it. I have guessed on the amounts since when we make it, it's always just based on how much I want to have ready.     'Top Shelf' according to my son. I originally found this on, but I guess that site is no longer available. So I wanted to post it on Zaar for safe keeping. I usually omit the carrot unless I just have some on hand. I don't think it adds that much to the recipe, other than color. While the recipe calls for 2 1/2 cups of vegetable broth, I usually just use one can and then add enough water to make 2 1/2 cups. We sometimes squirt a little lime juice on the rice as well ... really adds to the flavor.
