    This is an appetizer that my daughter came up with. The name comes from the piTA bread and the feTA cheese ... TA's, It is so simple to make, yet very tasty. I have yet to serve it and not get rave reviews on it. I have guessed on the amounts since when we make it, it's always just based on how much I want to have ready. I'm sorry I can't be more specific on the amounts.

    This is a recipe I found in one of the grocery store recipes booklets. It is very rich tasting and the sherry just gives it a great accent. Since I don't have easy access to fresh seafood, I used the canned crab and it was fine. Although I haven't tried it, I would feel comfortable using scallops or any shellfish to make this dish.

    This recipe was in the Sunday paper a while back along with a coupon for Pillsbury flour. My daughter has made it and it is really good. You can also make cupcakes rather than the 13 x 9 cake.

    I found this recipe on another site and it is without doubt my favorite recipe for corned beef and cabbage. The orange just gives the meat a totally different flavor than what I'm used to. My son-in-law who also loves cabbage said this is the best cabbage, bar none, that he has ever tasted. I have also made the corned beef in a crock pot, cooking for 7 to 8 hours on low.

    Very easy and quick drink to mix up. Also very tasty. It can be a fooler and before you know it, you've had too many. 7-Up works just as well as Sprite and I've also used Ginger Ale with good success.

    Due to health concerns about raw eggs, I've forgone eggnog for a number of years ... until I came across this recipe. The mixture is cooked so no danger from raw eggs. It's delicious! I usually keep some separate without rum for either kids or those who prefer no alcohol.

    Found this recipe on the box of the Betty Crocker Lemon Bars. The lemon bars by themselves are great, but add the raspberry preserves and you have a real treat. Lemon bar mix is not a recognized ingredient on this site, but that is what you'll need for the recipe. It can be found with the cake mixes in the grocery store.

    This recipe is very moist and dense and reminds me of a good fruit cake. Even though the directions call for a tube pan, I usually use a 9 x 13 cake pan. And to my personal taste, the nuts can be omitted and never missed.

    This recipe came from my Mom and I have no idea where she got it. I just know this is another recipe that even if someone thinks they don't care for apple pie, they usually love this one. This can be made with or without a crust; I always use the Pillsbury Ready Crust.

    I got this recipe from a co-worker many years ago. It sounds like a lot of steps, but it's very easy to make. The pineapple really keeps the cake moist and the frosting is a classic cream-cheese frosting.

    This is a recipe that I've had for years and once again have no idea where it came from. My family likes it better than any we've ever had in a restaurant. This is also great the second (or third) day. The amount of onions you use will depend on how strong you want the onion taste to be. In my opinion, you can have too much onion, so I usually tend to stay closer to the 3 cups rather than 5.
