Chipotle gives this soup quite a kick, but also an excellent, smokey flavor. Zucchini and chia seeds add micronutrients as well.

    Recipe #477203

an adaptation of a recipe from Alton Brown

    Recipe #476526

From the Better Homes and Gardens red plaid cookbook. THE best banana bread out there! I always add some cinnamon sugar on top before baking, which adds a subtle but delicious difference. Makes a yummy, crispy top crust! Try it... you won't be disappointed!

    Recipe #448398

A neighbor shared this recipe at a is adapted from Mediterraneo in Hermosa Beach. It always draws rave reviews. It is on the spicy side after a couple of bites.

    Recipe #448342

This is a wonderful main dish salad that my whole family enjoys. The recipe came from my mother-in-law and it is a summer staple in our house! A very refreshing dish that I like to serve with warm crusty rolls. Great for using up leftover chicken (I've been known to buy a ready-to-eat deli chicken just so I have an excuse to make this!). Enjoy!

    Recipe #380710

Don't settle for store bought! This is super easy to make and oh so much better. Just that perfect amount of heat that makes you want to keep on eating it! (Or, if you prefer it less spicy, just use fewer chipotles). I like to serve this with pita wedges, crackers and baby carrots. It's always a hit at parties and tailgates, and makes a large amount so it's a perfect dish for sharing. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

    Recipe #379320

A super yummy, super easy recipe! Use fat free sour cream & fat free whipped topping if you like... it still tastes great. To give it that fancy look, use the back of a spoon to "spike" up the whipped topping, then sprinkle with chocolate shavings!

    Recipe #338930

Try this tangy sauce with roast turkey, pork, or chicken... or on toast! I serve it for Thanksgiving every year and it always goes over well, especially on leftover turkey sandwiches! Make it a day or two ahead to make your day that much easier. Enjoy! (From Cooking Light Magazine, Nov. 2006 issue) Cook time is chill time.

    Recipe #338543

This is super easy and super yummy! I always double the recipe and freeze one batch for later on. Also, instead of buying the ham, pork & beef, my grocery store sells "ham loaf"... I just use two pounds of that and skip the separate meats. I throw everything into my KitchenAid mixer and let 'er rip (I don't even crush the crackers ahead of time). You can also skip the eggs and it will turn out just fine. I serve this with white rice and green beans. It's my 5 year-old's favorite meal!

    Recipe #334268

I received this recipe from a friend and now it is a family favorite. It's looks very fancy and makes a nice presentation, but it is oh so easy! Make it as spicy or mild as you like. Great for weeknight dinners, Superbowl parties, etc. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does.

    Recipe #328739

A main dish salad that is a summer staple in our house. Even our 4-year old loves it! It's refreshing, yet filling. I serve it with crusty rolls and chocolate pie for dessert. Also, use leftover chicken if you have some to make it that much easier. I've also found that this tastes great even without the chilling time. Hope you like this as much as we do!

    Recipe #303372

This recipe looks as good as it tastes! It started as a Weight Watchers recipe, but I made some modifications (don't worry - it's still healthy!). Even my 4-yr old liked it! This dish is beautiful, nutritious and filling... nice enough to serve to company! Since the chicken breasts were quite large, I had the meat counter cube them into bite-sized pieces so it would cook faster. This might look like a lot of work, but really it's not. I hope you'll give it a try!

    Recipe #297791

My mother-in-law and I just came up with this recipe while making Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. The beauty is that you can choose the cooking method that works best for you... stove top, oven, or crock pot--and they are nearly impossible to mess up. Fix and forget! We both agreed these are the best sweet potatoes we've ever had!
