Pumpkin blondies (brownies minus the chocolate) made from fresh pumpkin. The best pumpkin brownie/blondie you'll ever put in your mouth. Spicy, moist and even better after they sit overnight. It's like a pumpkin party in your mouth. :)

    Recipe #466821

Quick easy chicken and dumplings. Satisfies that comfort food need without the time it normally takes to make from scratch.

Created to be a side with other southwestern/mexican style entrees which always seem full of protein but lacking in the vegetable department. Hopefully you'll find it works for you the same.

Great dressing - it makes me look forward to eating salad. This recipe makes a HUGE batch of dressing, but this is hands down the BEST Caesar dressing I've ever eaten. Thankfully Carnival kindly provided the recipe to me upon request. I will be breaking this down into smaller increments to make here at home. I have left measurements as I received them. You'll have to convert them from metric on your own. Or use the exact metric measurements for best results.

Absolutely one of the FINEST chocolate desserts I've ever eaten. I even repeated our visit to the dining room just so I could have another go at this dessert before we got off the boat. Carnival passed this recipe out in the dining room the last night of the cruise and I'm SOOO happy they did!

Saw this on Barefoot Contessa this AM and wanted to keep for safekeeping, so here ya go!

    Recipe #384497

I seriously modified the Amish Blueberry Cake #23060 to result in this concoction. We loved it. The batter was light and fluffy and the cake moist and delicious. I frosted it with the buttercream version of white icing #16017, though frosting wasn't needed. Super yummy! Even better after sitting in fridge overnight.

    Recipe #380419

This recipe is pretty easy to put together and freezes REALLY well, if it lasts long enough to freeze that is. With just two adults in my house, we usually go through the first loaf the first night I make it. The second loaf is great to warm up for leftovers, or slice and make meatloaf sammies. Yum!

Southern comfort food at its finest. Let this cook in the crockpot all day and serve up with some cornbread. This recipe can be cooked on the stovetop and the liquid can be cut back to make it thicker and less soupy. I dreamed this up one cool day when I was hankering for some good beans and sausage.

We LOVE these rolls. This recipe would probably make good bread too. We've used these rolls to make little sandwiches with as well as putting them on the side with dinner. It isn't real sweet, so be prepared for a true wheat taste. I've successfully substituted honey for half the sugar and soured milk for the water. The great thing about this recipe is that you can alter it to fit your needs. Want Italian rolls? Just add Italian seasoning in the mix then sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and parsley before baking. Super easy and the bread machine does all the work for you! NOTE: Prep time includes time in bread machine for mixing and kneading.

I know, another corn pudding recipe, but this one's a bit different in the ingredients and sugar content. This recipe was handed down to me from my mom who grew up in the midwest. It is still a bit sweet, but not overly so, this recipe lends itself to tweaking. I expect to be tuning it up a bit by using fresh (instead of canned) ingredients and seeing where it goes.

    Recipe #339814

The title pretty much says it all. This is always a hit at the holiday table. It is a sweet dish and could probably double as a dessert, if you desire.

    Recipe #339757

My grandmother gave me this recipe as I'm such a black walnut fan. I've not had a chance to try it yet, but plan to before the holidays are out! You can ice it with whatever you like. There was no information on baking with her original recipe, so the baking time is estimated.

If your family is like mine and refuses to eat cooked spinach, make it like this and you won't miss!!

What will you ever do with all that leftover turkey from Thanksgiving? I have one solution - make a casserole! This recipe could likely use a little fine tuning, but it was invented out of the necessity to get rid of all that leftover turkey. Enjoy!

My MIL made this the first time we met. It's totally yummy. The combo of ham, eggs, and potatoes work great together for breakfast, brunch, dinner, or whenever! This also reheats very well. So easy with loads of flavor. For a nice twist I sometimes sprinkle with cheddar before serving. Hubby likes it with hot sauce and ketchup on the side. Note: To make cook time shorter, slice the potatoes thin so they cook faster.

Absolutely supreme vanilla rum raisins - that about says it all!

    Recipe #128462

A modified version of several popular Hot Artichoke Spinach Dip recipes - I whipped it together with items I had on hand. Comes out chunky and yummy. Just TRY it. . . you'll love it!

I know most of you will pass this right up, but this is an extremely simple and yummy way to make this veggie. Just try it once! This recipe comes from a friend of the family who fixed this when I went to visit her. She said this was the only way to get her whole family (kids and DH) to eat Brussels sprouts.

    Recipe #104402

This recipe is a one dish meal. It's so easy to throw together and the cooking time just depends on the kind of rice you use. The flavor is great and this is easy to modify should you need to.
