I generally only like one type of potato salad, but I tried this one once because it sounded interesting and I was thrilled with the result. It tastes incredibly light and refreshing and the radish adds a nice bite to it. It's my most requested potato salad recipe. From Fine Cooking magazine.

I got this recipe from a wonderful friend who is a chef and cooking instructor in Canada. I love it because it is super-moist, and has intense flavor. In a test of 5 different banana bread recipes, this is the one my husband and neighbors liked the best.

These cookies are absolutely delicious and absolutely addictive! I keep rolls of it on hand in the freezer and just slice off as many as I want to bake at one time. They never last long. My 2 year old LOVES them. Another winner from FC...

This is a recipe from FC last year. These cookies are truly exceptional. The require some patience to make, but they are gorgeous when finished and delicious. Perfect for holidays or for a ladies tea, or perhaps to cheer up a friend...one of my all-time favorite cookies. The 4-hour prep time includes chilling time. EQUIPMENT: cookie sheets lined with parchment, food processor, plastic wrap, 2 cookie cutters of the same shape, one about 2 1/2-inch diameter, one about 1 1/4-inch diameter.

This is a fantastic, different way to serve cauliflower. It's a modification of a recipe from Fine Cooking. I love it. Great with lamb or any braised meat.

I love, love, love this bread! The ingredients may seem sweet to you, but it really isn't. It's a little spicy, a little sweet, a little savory. I made my first batch when I was pregnant, ate one entire loaf right out of the oven, and then started another batch that same day so I wouldn't run out! I couldn't stop eating it, it's that good. It does require some long rising times, but the actual work you put into it is minimal. You need to allow 2 full days to make this bread. You will be rewarded, though - it's incredible. From Baking with Julia, my favorite baking book...

This bread is fantastic, so don't let the odd directions scare you off. Everyone who has tried this bread has been instantly in love with it, and the loaves never last long - I once had both loaves disappear in 1 day! It's also very simple to put together and make. This bread is truly one of my all time favorites.

I love deviled eggs, especially in the summer with picnic food and barbeque.

This recipe is from an old friend, Carolina, who makes a fabulous biscuit. This is different than my other recipe for buttermilk biscuits because it has the addition of an egg. It has a different taste and texture, but it is equally as good.

This is an authentic Mexican rice dish from Jim Peyton, and despite it's somewhat odd sounding ingredients, it is fantastic!!! Great with any meat dish. I sometimes make this for myself for dinner, with nothing but the rice and a glass of white wine to enjoy with it. Leftovers heat up well, too.

After many years of experimentation, I think these are the best biscotti I've ever made. They are nice and dry and crunchy the way real biscotti should be - they are not cookie-like like many you buy in the store these days. They are perfect for dipping, they have a long shelf-life, they are delicious and flavorful. My toddler LOVES them and even asks for them before bed with a cup of milk for dipping. Another great recipe from Alice Medrich.

From Tom Douglas of the Dahlia Lounge in Seattle. I admit it - when I first saw the amount of salt in this recipes I thought, "WHAT?" but Chef Douglas is incredible so I decided to trust him and try this recipe just like he said to. What can I say - it's just delicious. My favorite way to roast a chicken now. You will be converted, too, once you try it. Great with mashed potatoes.

Brining pork chops is undoubtedly the best way to prepare them. After I did it once, I will no longer prepare them any other way. They are juicy and delicious and far better than any I've ever had before.

I really love this recipe. I like to use smallish zucchini, because the large ones are just too tough. This filling is also very good for stuffed mushrooms or peppers or filo bites or whatever else you like.

Creme Fraiche has a very tangy taste and a lighter texture than sour cream. You can buy it in stores many places, but if not, just make your own. I like this as a substitute for sour cream in dessert recipes because I think commercial sour cream can add a harsh edge to some of the more delicate pastry items.
